Q: Just purchased today. It was in two sealed boxes. There was no CREVICE TOOL! There was a picture of one included in the instructions. Am I missing something??

    Not that great, ok on floors but not carpets

    It doesn’t really vacuum carpets well which is disappointing for how superior this product is supposed to be. I also don’t like that it has to continuously be held for the vacuum to be powered. It has good suction but doesn’t well on carpets of most pile types. The battery life is ok could be better.

    Not sure it's worth the money

    I’m very conflicted. I bought two of these since they were highly recommended. The vacuum itself operates satisfactorily but the battery life has depleted over the few months I have owned them. I am now barely able to vacuum two rooms of my small to regular sized house. The battery life lasts around 15-20 minutes. This is highly inefficient and beyond frustrating.

    Hard Pass

    Absolutely hate this product. Perhaps better suited for in between maintenance cleanup, or a home free of toddlers or any pets, but this vacuum does constantly despite being plugged in, doesn’t suck up much of anything, and constantly has debris falling out the bottom when we go to hang it up. We don’t use this product for large messes or anything, and we keep the filter clean and chamber free from build up. I don’t feel like we’re doing any sort of “heavy lifting” with it, but I am so disappointed that it does not stay charged and leaves a mess behind or just spread out more across the floor. It “looks clean” until you realize everything has just been re-distributed. I like the idea, not a fan of the product. Giving three stars in case it truly is just user-error/the type of home we have, but not impressed at all, especially not for the price.

    ordered online, and just opened and the battery does not work! I couldn't even return the item easily via fedex etc because it has to go back to a store which isn't convenient. Need to now call Dyson and get a replacement battery. Target needs to do better with their inventory.

    First cordless Dyson can honestly say that the extra cost is justified. The suction power on normal mode is more powerful than our previous cleaner where we had to permanently have on high mode for a deeper cleaner. Impressed

    Powerful V8

    I have had 2 dysons but the V8 is fantastic, the suction is great my carpet has never been so clean,long battery use, empting was challenging but once I got use to it really easy. I love my V8 I would not be without it…

    All round excellent

    This is the best vacuum I've had, even on low the suction filtration is very good. My last one was SO noisy l wore ear defenders, the V8 is quiet. The only concern l had was a friend had a problem with hers and no one would listen, she was adament she would never get another dyson, and never has!

    Quick ‘pick me up’

    Bought this as a ‘quick vacuum’ rather than get my ducted vacuum system out and it’s fantastic. Easy to manoeuvre, good suction and easy to empty.

    I’m 86 and live alone in a 2bedroom cottage. I do all my own housework and I love my new cordless, bagless Dyson. I reluctantly swapped my big old cylinder Dyson for this…and I’m so glad I did. It’s excellent!

    Who knew vacuuming was so fun!

    I own other Dyson products including the Ball Upright but it isn't always convenient for tight spaces or quick jobs. I caught the cordless on sale and have loved it from the moment I've used it! It is lightweight and easy to use and once I get started with a small cleanup, I almost can't stop myself from vacuuming the rest of the house!

    Great vaccuum best I've ever used.

    I got the lowest cost model I possibly could and I have been really surprised about how well made it is. The reusable filters are amazing as well as the feature that scrapes off the metal filter when emptying it ensuring complete emptying of the waste bin. The suction power is phenomenal for such a small unit, it can pick up near anything. Battery life was also a surprise on low I can vaccuum for over half an hour. The sound level is very soft so I can still watch tv or listen to a podcast while I clean. The unit doesn't feel heavy in my hand either and makes for an easy stress free cleaning experience.
