A: Thanks for the question, Ruth! To clean the hose on your BISSELL Little Green Mini, we recommend the following steps: Flush the hose: Fill the clean water tank with warm water and run the machine for a few seconds to flush out any residue. Use the self-cleaning tool: Attach it to the hose and run clean water through to rinse the inside. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Let it dry: stretch out the hose and allow it to air dry completely before storing.

Q: I have the bigger one and it’s been a struggle to clean out the suction part. Any recommendations on how to clean that out? I assumed I could detach it but that hasn’t worked either. Please help!

I used this immediately after purchasing because my dog puked up something red in a big puddle on my carpet. My expectations going i were low but I use din conjunction with the little green spot & stain formula. I am excited to say it all came up!!! I will reevaluate when my carpet is totally dry but this thing is a life saver no matter what!

It does what I want
I didn’t need a deep clean, but a surface clean before company came for the holidays. The machine did what I needed it to do. To get a deep cleaning I still will need a professional. I had some trouble keeping water from sliding off my Scotch Guarded fabric, but I did manage to clean most of the surface dirt and the hair left behind by my cat. There’s one purple stain that I know I left, but I can’t remember how I did it. It’s still a shadow of itself.

Mini MAGIC!
I am so happy I bought this! I haven’t used it on rugs or carpeting yet, but I bought it mainly for my living room sofa, love seat, chair, and ottoman. There are 4 adults in my house, along with 3 dogs and a cat. Needless to say, after 3 years with this furniture, I was ready to throw it all out. Spot cleaning and spray deodorizer didn’t cut it. I wanted it CLEAN. And that’s what I got! It was easy to put together, and easy to use. I really love that I can clean all the parts out thoroughly after a cleaning session too. Anyone who has a couch, which is everyone, should get one of these. That goes double if you have pets.

Preventable leak but great cleaner. Recommend buy.
Bought this to test cleaning and for stairs. If passed, I'll bite the bullet and buy a floor model. Most negative reviews were about leaking. It cleaned great (off-white Berber carpet) and is built very well. I did experience leakage when dipping the hose in water for cleaning. I found if I put slight pressure on the dirty water container it stopped. I've only had this a few days so longevity is unknown. It cleaned old pet urine stain, mildew stain, dirt and other unknown stains. I'll be buying a floor model and keep this for spots/stairs after full carpet cleaning.
