Q: do you have to change the filter

A: Hello there, Thank you for your question! Both the pre-motor and post-motor filters will eventually need to be replaced. The pre-motor filter can be washed and air-dried for up to 48 hours, and only needs replacing when it shows visible wear. The post-motor filter should be replaced once a year. For best performance, tap off loose dirt between washes.

A: The dock dust bin holds up to 30 days of dust. When the full indicator light turns on, remove the bagless bin by lifting it by the handle. To dispose of the contents, hold it over the trash and press the side release button to let the debris fall out.

A: The battery is removable, but it can only be charged in the vacuum. To charge the battery, place your vacuum on the Auto-Empty Dock. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours. Leaving the unit plugged in will not damage battery life.

Very bad
I am very disappointed in this product less than three months after purchasing it it does not suck anything literally just spits everything out I had a tineco wireless stick vacuum for four years that worked great and finally went out, but this vacuum is not even lasted me three months… I’ve cleaned every filter and checked every issue on the vacuum and don’t know what to do, but I would love a refund or a new vacuum that would actually work…

Cute but not worth it
I loved this vacuum, at first. I am two months in and the suction has begun to weaken and dust and carpet freshener spill out of the back all of the time. This thing costs too much money for this performance issue.

Do Not Waste your money
I bought this vacuum thinking it was going to be worth every penny and after a couple months of giving it a chance it sucks the battery life is horrible I've cleaned it really well and still will drop the dirt from the bottom definitely not worth the hype.

Not too happy.
I like the auto-empty feature, but this vacuum does not have great suction on hard floors, and especially on carpet. If I hadn't already trashed the box it came in, I would return it for a refund. Not too happy Shark.

So close to being great
Works in one direction fairly well. I like that it is cordless. Battery power length is so so. The filter where debris flows into the system is always clogged before the actual compartment is full. This leads to multiple trips to the base to clear it out. The attachment clip doesn’t actually hold any of the attachments. It is inconvenient to have to hold them while cleaning.

Horrible Target customer service!
This review is of Target’s service not the vacuum. Was shipped the wrong vacuum after using Cyber Monday deals. Target corporate customer service and local store’s response to their error was to return the vacuum model sent by them, refund amount paid and have me purchase the originally ordered model at higher price as cyber discounts were no longer in place. Long time red card holder very disappointed in Target.

Really like this vacuum!
I'll say the "bad" first ; It was a little pricey due to the suction not being as strong as it probably should for that price. I use it to do a quick pick up everyday and it works well with battery life. It has only died on me once. I wish you could get extra batteries to swap out. I love the self emptying option as I didn't realize that feature until I brought it home. I keep this in my bedroom so I also really like that it has a night time option. When the moon button is pushed, the vacuum won't self empty.

Cordless disappointment
Thank you for the cordless upgrade for free. However, I am not impressed with the performance as with my other Shark with the cord. Using the cordless, takes the convenience out of vacuuming, very time consuming, having to empty big areas often. Plus the unit doesn’t stand up alone, always need to lean it against something or lay it on the floor. Very disappointing. Personally, a very poor design and product.

Auto Empty
I bought this vacuum to replace a Shark Navigator Lift Away. It's lightweight and does a good job vacuuming my laminate floors. I like the auto empty feature as it eliminates the dust and dirt from dispersing into the air. I tried using the vacuum as a handheld and found the suction power lacking and this is why I gave 4 stars.
