A: Your robot can send audio notifications to assist with troubleshooting and cleaning status. If you’d like to turn off the voice feature, you can do so in the SharkClean app. Simply go to the menu in the top left corner of the home screen, select Settings, choose your robot, and then select Notification Volume. From there, you can raise or lower the volume or completely turn it off by setting the level to 0. Please note that we cannot specify how loud the notifications can get, as the volume is fully controlled through the app.

Love this. I’ve had several different types of Roomba/iRobot robots. This has been the best thus far. I have an English bulldog who sheds quite a bit and a son who is messy. This robot is able to pick up all of the dog hair and mess. My son leaves around. It has strong suction and self empties every 45 minutes while it’s cleaning the house. The only thing that I would like to change or I wish it had a feature is set to anytime that I leave the house that it can start. There is a schedule, but you can only set one schedule. Other than that, I think this is worth the money.

This was super easy to set up, I love that it’s quiet even on the max setting. When emptying it does get as loud as a traditional vacuum but I live I don’t have to empty it every time I run it. This is perfect for pet owners and if you have a washable rug and/or low profile rugs, this will be great for you vs traditional vacuums. I wish in the app I could watch exactly where the vacuum is on the grid pattern it does, this could also be user error that I haven’t found that feature. Would totally recommend so far, hoping it lasts a very long time!

This is my second robo-vacuum and there is a lot to like. That said, there are some features that I do wish it had when comparing it to the older model it replaced: Pros- - Does a great job cleaning. Obviously very important. Picks up dust, dirt, cheerios, etc. - Self-empties! This is so great. This vacuum is virtually zero-maintenance until you have to empty the dust bin. - It’s reliable. My previous vacuum would get stuck *constantly* and we’d always have to “rescue” it. - Ability to map out the house and only clean certain rooms is pretty cool What would make it better: - You can only schedule a cleaning once a day. I would prefer to be able to schedule twice a day. Our old vacuum did this without an issue. - Battery life is really poor. It can barely clean my entire downstairs in one go. At times it will have to go back to the dock to charge in the middle. My house is large but not huge. Previous vacuum had no issue, and that one ran twice a day. Overall happy with my purchase but for $300 I will say I wish the battery was better and I could schedule cleanings more than once a day! I’d recommend this and buy it again, as it cleans better than my previous vacuum did. You can’t go wrong with a Shark.

I will say I had high hopes and the two stars are simply due to the mapping abilities as it mapped the whole house in under an hour and was pretty spot on. However the battery life even on eco mode is not enough on a full charge to complete the house, it gets stuck easily, and while it states self empty/60 days I’ve had this product ran it twice now and it is already malfunctioning stating it can not self empty due to blockage that is not there. Would not recommend. Giving it one more week before we return to see if maybe its user error and we can learn to live with some of the faults.

Overhyped.
I don’t find it as easy to use or works as great as the other reviews (which I notice many are left as part of promotion/incentive). I don’t find the battery life great. She has to empty or dock half way through a short cleaning session. I can’t get her to work without the app and the app is not great. It freezes, logs me out, isn’t responsive. Maybe the vacuum itself is a great vacuum , but I can’t get it tow function properly most times. She has gotten lost on some of her missions. Overall disappointed.

This shark has no bite. Don't buy.
So disappointed with this vacuum. I thought the name and price would ensure that it was easy to use and worked well, neither is the case. It takes forever to clean my 1500 square-foot house, often going back to charge in the middle of a cleaning and typically leaves hair and other debris. It gets caught and stuck on the smallest obstacle. I've had robot vacuums in the past and never experienced this. It also goes off-line regularly and the instructions to put it back on never work. I do not recommend buying this item.

Best purchase for home with 2 dogs!
I had been putting off getting one of these for a long time. I have 2 shedding dogs and a baby that has become more mobile, finding myself vacuuming everyday and sometimes multiple times! This robot vac mapped out my house quickly and i mapped out the rooms very easily. It saves me so much time and really is thorough in its clean. It’s nice to send it to a single room or two if needed and it empties right into the dock. I have about 1300 square foot home and it does have to recharge before finishing the entire house, I’d say it would clean 1000sq ft with one charge. If you’re contemplating, get it!!

Shark Navigator Outsmarts my Old Robot!
My old robot vacuum is at least seven years old. I had to chase it around to get it to vacuum where and when I wanted it to vacuum. I had to constantly clean out the dust bin after each session. The Shark Navigator took it's first lap around the house and mapped it perfectly! My first test was to send it to a remote room. It left the base and tracked directly to the location, cleaned it, and returned to the base without any intervention. I have to note that on the first two sessions, I did get an alert to empty the base bin even though there was very little dirt (the filters seemed to get clogged). For the first major whole house cleaning, it ran for about 90 minutes and cleaned more than 70 percent of the house. It returned to the base wiht 15% battery remaining and recharged (It took about 3 hours to recharge). It took off and went directly to the rooms not cleaned yet and finished the job, dutifully returning to base. Total runtime was 2 hours 11 minutes. No alerts for the dust bin this time. I was intrigued to see the way it works. It starts cleaning the edges of the room, then up and down rows to complete. I ran it on max power and the sound wasn't too loud to interfere with conversation or music. In summary, I'm impressed with the technology. Lidar mapping works perfectly and navigation was flawless! It cleans great too!
