Q: Why didn't you answer the question about charging
A: You can use the included cord along with the wall charger from your cell phone. Especially if the wall charger is a newer one that came out in the past few years.

However, it should not feel hot to the touch. Q: My vacuum only runs for 1-2 minutes at a time before shutting off (even after charging). Is this typical or is there something wrong with the vacuum I received?
A: In my experience, that is not typical. Mine lasts a long time vacuuming and dusting and can even go a few days without charging between uses.

Q: How does this charge? A charge stand?
A: You can use the included cord along with the wall adapter for your cell phone. Especially if your wall adapter is a current one from the last few years.
