Q: Does this only accept large quantities of flour / baking goods? In other words, if I want to make a single batch of cookies (~2 cups flour, 2 eggs, 1.5 cup sugar) would this mixer still work well?
A: Single batches work well, too.
submitted byMC - 6 months agoA: Works fine for double batches
submitted byKsheb - 6 months agoA: Yes it works very well! It will be the best mixer you have ever owned. Trust me, you won't regret snagging one of these!
submitted byLynn - 1 year agoA: I’ve had my pro mixer by kitchen aide 19 years ,and I made 4 double batches of cookie dough to chill this week ,plus single batches of cookie dough , it’s a game changer ! No more hand mixing , even with the hand size kitchen aide mixer I use for every day use ,it’s great also .

Q: Why would you want the bowl-lift feature vs a tilt head?
A: Ease of bread making.
submitted byMC - 6 months agoA: Hi Cassie, The bowl-lift models offer a higher wattage for mixing larger quantities.
submitted byKitchenAidTeam - 2 years agoBrand expertA: More versatile with where it can be placed
submitted byKsheb - 6 months agoA: You can use this in more versatile places, such as under an overhang or cabinet without having to move it to lift the bowl.
submitted byMrs Meow - 1 year agoA: Bread/pizza dough. Lift stand models have no "flex" in the hinge when kneading with the dough hook. Minor trade-off is having to remove the beater/hook before removing the bowl, vs tipping it up.
