Amazing battery life & great features!
I’ve been using the Fēnix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar for almost a month. I upgraded from a 6S Pro Sapphire due to the battery just barely having enough juice to get through a 15 hour Ironman. First, the features on the 7 are a significant upgrade from the 6 line, and I enjoy having the training readiness, jet lag advisor, ECG, health snapshot, and more advanced running dynamics from my HRM Pro Plus. I was a little apprehensive about the large size, as my 6S was 42mm and the 7X is 51mm. My wrists are only 5.8 inches (14.7cm) around, so I was worried that the large watch would look like a wall clock strapped to my wrist and be uncomfortable to wear, especially at night. I have been pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is and that it looks good too! So, if you too have child size wrists, this watch can work for you! And the battery is AMAZING! I skied all day with the GPS running, and the solar kept the watch from losing a lot charge at all. Even without a ton of solar exposure, the battery lasts more than a week with daily workouts. I’m sure it will handle my next Ironman like a champ!

Awesome Upgrade
Great upgrade for me coming from the Fenix 5+ that has been my daily driver for a week shy of 5 years. What I noticed, battery is crazy. I made it 15 days exactly from 100% to watch died and that is with minimal sun and almost daily flashlight usage. Speaking of the flashlight, I don’t know if I can buy a watch without one now. I never use my phone light unless it’s too awkward to use my watch. I do wish Garmin would have come up with a different charge port because this was the only issue I had with my 5+, about year 3 it started to be a pain setting the watch just right to get the watch to charge. Hope that won’t be an issue in the future with this one. These watches are hard to replace due to the cost so I usually snag last year’s model around Black Friday. Highly recommended the Fenix series and I would never not buy the sapphire crystal, not sure what it is but my wrist seems to be attracted to door jambs among other things. Not a single scratch after 5 years of lots of running, biking, hiking, and hunting. This watch would be perfect if I could text from it. Oh and maybe play Apple Music, that would be a solid upgrade.

Poor visibility
As far as the feature set and performance, I’m sure the Fenix is a fantastic product. I’ve had an instinct 2 for some time and love it and the Garmin Connect environment. However, the sapphire solar glass had so much glare and relativity, the outdoor and low light visibility was just a show stopper and I returned it. I’ve attached shots of the Fenix with its MIP sapphire display next to my Indtinct2 MIP display for comparison.

Great upgrade
I have a Fenix 6 Pro, so most of my comparisons are based on that model. The heart rate monitor is much improved, giving smoother readings. The battery life is incredibly enhanced. I am excited about the solar function, but it is cloudy where I live, so I haven't tested it. Reading the reviews on the 8, I did not think the upgraded screen was worth the large increase in price. The interface on the 7x pro is the same as the 6, but the screen and touch functions are a benefit. All around, it was time for me to upgrade and I am happy with the amount I paid and the added feature I got.

Everyone needs one.
One of the best purchases I have ever made. The health status helped my doctors figure out a complex medical condition. The stats are fun but not just that they help you train.And keep you motivated, especially when you feel like you're running low on steam. The flashlight has been amazing. Not just for outdoors. Great for housework too. The battery lasted a long time.The touchscreen is wonderful. And it was so cool.My sister and my dad got 1 to match me so we are all synchronized. They absolutely love theirs too. The check in for the spin biking mountain.Biking and kayaking is wonderful.No complaints.

Fantastic Watch
Bought this to replace an Apple Watch and I am so glad I did. The features and accuracy for me are superior to my previous watch. I absolutely love how lone the battery lasts which is important for me since I am doing a lot of training and backpacking in the woods which requires tracking all day. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a fitness watch to help you track your activities and help you get the most of your training sessions.

This watch replaced my Garmin fenix 6x pro which I was very pleased with. The 7x pro sapphire is a pretty substantial upgrade both in battery life, functionality and syncs much faster with Apple music for playing songs.

Great Watch
The Fenix 7X Pro SS is a great watch. Excellent battery life, nice clear watch face, and lots of metrics to follow. I don’t have the biggest wrists but the 7X still fits well and at times don’t even know it’s there. I will always use and buy Garmin.

Went from a Venu2 to the Fenix Pro. While I am still getting used to all the features, this watch is wonderful. Battery life is amazing, love the health apps (HRV/ Sleep scrore) It does take some time to get used to, but well worth it!

Great Watch!
Is a good watch, like the rugged designed, more heavy than the forerunner, but I prefer it. After two days of using it I experienced a software glitch, never experienced before in a garmin watch, I reseted it an updated the software, and has been working fine since then.

Great Multifunctional Watch
I have had the Fenix 7X Pro Saphire for over a year and it continues to perform well. Without a doubt the best sports watch on the market. I am very active and use it daily for multiple sports, like walking, cycling, running and golf.
