Great Upgrade
I have had the S62 for the last 5 years and it was a great watch as well, so I've experienced the Garmin watch usage. The S70 really was a nice upgrade in features, screen clarity, brightness and battery life. The only time I remove my watch is when I shower or charge it, so it gets a workout year-round on and off the golf course..

Needs improvements
Basic functionalities are fine. But does a poor job detecting chips and putts. Recording is sometimes messy. Often misses a shot and requires later adjustment. Have not used the virtual caddie yet as only played three rounds.

Great product
This watch was a game changer. I compared the watch’s gps to my range finder and the yardage was spot on. It’s very user friendly and I especially appreciate the ability to check pin placement when the flag in not in my line of site. I am still learning all the features that this watch offers. So glad I purchased this watch Garmin S70 is the truth!

Great All Around Watch
Top rated golf watch but also use it for all my activities including running, walking, treadmill and pickleball. Golfed in Mexico City and the S70 automatically picked up the course layout details and yardage. I never take the watch off as it measures heart rate, sleep quality, steps and outdoor temperature

Upgrade S62 to S70
Good upgrade from S62. Replaced my S62 after many years and the battery's life was running out. I was disappointed that added features of the S70 require a membership / subscription even though the price of the S70 is on the high end.

Disappointed
Was surprised to discover that the green undulation feature, the reason why I bought the S70, was an annual subscription service. My old Golfbuddy Aim W10 provides this feature for free. Also, my Garmin Fenix 7 golf app lets me cycle the hazards on a fairway. The S70 does not do this. The S70 screen is a lot brighter than my Fenix 7.

I love it,
it is accurate and friendly to use, however, I would like to see more bluetooth coverage, any time you go away from the cell that usually you have to leave it in the car, the watch constanly disconect just a few feet away from the cell phone, and there is zone in the course where you must leave the car away from the shot. It is a great golf watch, just will be nicer if the blue tooh will have longe range.

Great upgrade
I had to get a new watch because my old S60's battery went bad. The S70 is a remarkable upgrade. Battery lasts WAY longer, has some cool features, and i like the new operating system on it. Stunk to have to buy something new but at least I had to because if the battery.
