These sensors are crucial for preventing accidents and are located around the robot's base, requiring occasional cleaning to stay effective.

Roomba 105 vacuum
Very happy with this Roomba. It maps out your rooms and vacuums so thoroughly. It seems to be durable and it is good at avoiding objects that are taller than it. The only negative thing is the noise when it is emptying its bag to the base unit. Also, it did not come with any replacement parts (i.e. additional bags, brush, nor sensor brush). So far so good.

I have had this for about a month, and it doesn’t suck, meaning it doesn’t vacuum the floors. I watch it go over areas that need clean up and the same crumbs are still there when it goes past. I want a refund. So disappointing, one would think that vacuums would be effective in this day and age. Especially when they are that expensive!

Charge time
This version takes an hour and a half to charge and only runs for 30 minutes between charges. Definitely unlike any of the previous versions of iRobot vacuums I’ve owned. I’m very let down.

So Disappointed
Bought this after reading all the great reviews. I've set up the app and asked it to create maps but the vacuum just continously runs in circles over one area and then either says it's done or runs out of battery. Have contacted support and none of their fixes work. Am returning it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the roomba 105. It mapped the room very well and cleaned the rooms adequately. Minimal noise level when cleaning, the only major noise is when it is emptying itself. The noise lasts about a minute or so. Battery life is great, so far. This is a game changer for cleaning. Since you are able to decide if you want to clean one room or all the rooms on the map. I love this! I tried adding a video, and somehow, it won't upload, so you could see how it cleans as it goes.

So easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this robot vacuum, I had one before from another brand but it was practically unusable because it wouldn’t map properly. This one shocked me it mapped our 1100 sqf house in minutes with very good accuracy! I had decluttered and got small furniture out of the way beforehand, this is very important, and I closed the bathroom doors leaving them out of the map. The app is very easy to use, the robot only got stuck once between something so I just rebooted and continued the cleaning. There’s 3 levels of cleaning, I selected normal level which turned out well. Of course it’s not as good as vacuuming every corner manually, but overall I was very pleased. This will keep the house tidy and definitely improve daily routines!

Convenient but glitchy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. When this first arrived, it didn't give clear start-up information, but it isn't super difficult to figure out. Like any vacuum, you need to clean hair off of the brush often, but you do have to keep an eye on the auto empty. The dust bin has trouble emptying properly sometimes, so you have to check it, or it will drag dirt with it the next time it cleans. You have to make sure there is nothing on the floor (it sucks up socks a lot easier than anticipated, haha). Also, you have to keep an eye on it while it cleans since it can get stuck on the corner of a rug or something easily and needs to be reset. I've had trouble with the app a few times. It seems to be unreliable and a bit glitchy. I have been unable to get it to start a cleaning from the app multiple times. It disconnects from the wifi easily, and then resetting the connection takes a few minutes. Although all technology has its issues, this can get a little annoying considering how expensive it is. I do really appreciate the convenience of not having to vacuum myself (especially at 20 weeks pregnant). It has a decent battery life and it is a bit loud but so are most vacuums. So, if you can afford it, I believe it is helpful, but it will require some effort to make sure it works properly.

Compact design allows it to go like anywhere around your house. Its gonna clean the dust, crumbs n little dirt. Best part is you can also schedule cleaning and spot a dirt in the map and your Roomba will reach and get the cleaning done. Sometimes it gets confused while spotting a dirt, may be that'll be fixed. Auto-docking and charging works really well..it occasionally bumps into things but figures out to get away..it cleans your house almost 95%.. keep the wires away coz it might tangle up. One full charge can deep clean your 2 big rooms. I wish it could have a mopping option too! But this little robot is great for your daily house chores! If you’re looking for a compact robot vacuum that handles everyday dirt and keeps your floors looking decent, the Roomba 105 is worth considering!

The AutoEmpty dock is a lifesaver, emptying the dustbin for me so I don't have to. It's quiet, efficient, and picks up pet hair like a pro. I've got more free time now and my floors have never been cleaner. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience using a vacuum robot, and I found it to be somewhat underwhelming despite some positive features. On the plus side, the suction power is impressive; it performs exceptionally well on hardwood floors, carpets, and rugs. I have two cats, and the vacuum effectively collects pet hair and debris from the litter box. The vacuum cleaner operates at a high noise level; however, my cats do not seem to be bothered by the sound it produces. However, there are notable drawbacks. The vacuum struggles to reach areas near walls or objects and is unable to clean corners effectively. Additionally, I need to download a companion app, and each time I want to use the robot, I am required to plug in the docking station, even if the battery is fully charged.

Smart cleaning that actually works

Love that I can schedule different rooms at different times, especially helpful considering working from home. The self emptying bin is a huge plus and helps me feel confident it’s actually picking stuff up. I wish it was a little quieter and that’s why I knocked it down one star, but it does such a good job that I can live with the noise.

My dog shed so much so I constantly run it. The last one I had I thought was amazing. This one is by far the most Excited one I’ve ever had the noise level you can change the speeds to it. The battery life last a while I highly recommend everybody to get this one. I am just in love with it. I run it all the time it does such an amazing job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: -organized and maps out where it cleans in the app -great app to monitor it if you’re not home and want to have it run -good sensors for navigation, I don’t hear it bump into my walls or furniture -the app has options to clean only specific areas if you prefer, which was an unexpected surprise! Cons: -louder running than my prior robot vacuum -the unloading feature? It’s convenient but it’s LOUD! If you’re a light sleeper, I would not recommend running it at night for this reason -larger body so had to find a new spot for its home base
