This compact ice maker from Frigidaire can product up to 26lbs of bullet shaped ice in 24 hours. Convenient countertop design. Easy to read LED display that shows the ice making status and alerts. Watch the ice making process with ease thanks to the large see through window. The simple to use electronic control panel and 1.3 quart water reservoir make this perfect for your home. Features a drain plug and includes a ice scoop. Important: This ice maker is designed to produce ice, not store it. The unit does not keep ice frozen once it is made. To prevent melting, transfer the ice to your freezer promptly after it is produced. Maintain optimal performance by cleaning your ice maker weekly to prevent scale buildup, particularly in areas with hard water. Please refer to your instruction manual for details.

A: A typical ice making cycle is 8-10 minutes. To make firmer/larger/drier ice, use colder water. Tip, let the first couple of batches of ice fall into the water reservoir to chill the water.

A: The ice storage area is not refrigerated. It is intended that ice produced be periodically transferred to zipperlock bags for storage in a conventional freezer.

A: It depends on the size of the ice cubes which depends on the temperature of the water used to make the ice. The larger the cubes, the more likely there is to be spaces between the ice cubes in the basket.

We're happy with it!
Great ice maker! We were debating on a few models, looking at all price points. All ice makers had about the same reviews, so we just went with the cheapest, which was this one. We’ve had it for 5 months and have had 0 issues. You do have to clean it periodically, just pour out the water and wipe it out well. We are super happy with our Frigidaire 😄

I would literally give this no stars if I could. I’m so frustrated, I did a delivery order specifically to get an ice maker and when I opened it up it was filthy inside. I’m honestly very disappointed and can’t believe I would be sold something used much alone filthy!

Horrible product
3 weeks and it stopped working. Target said I couldn’t return it . Took 3 weeks for the Frigidaire company to get back to me only for them to ask me 1000 questions that I answered 4 times and sent pictures and videos then was told if I wanted it replace I would have to pay for it to be returned . Don’t I repeat don’t waste your money

Not worth it
Waste of money. Broke within the first 6 months of having it. We always used filtered water. One day it just stopped making ice, we did all the troubleshooting recommended. Just invest in a better one to begin with.

Do not buy.
As soon as it hit one year, this ice machine wouldn’t stop leaking a ton of water. Contacted customer service and they did not do anything about it. This machine is also very hard to clean and is very high maintenance. Do not recommend. Invest in a better quality ice machine

Works great, while it works.
Nice little machine that fits almost anywhere. Easy to drain and clean, people need to read the description, this unit does not keep ice frozen, which we are ok with, but the sad part is.. it quits working. This is the 2nd one we have gotten, its a little older than a year, maybe a year and half, and it suddenly stopped making ice. We have kept it meticulously clean, descaled timely. It goes thru the normal process, 8 minutes to make normal ice cubes, then it dumps water. The metal contacts are not getting cold. Now we need to find a better brand.

For the price it does what it says it does.
It is what it said it is. I mean it works like it’s supposed to. It takes a while to get and quantity of ice. But for the price I think it is what someone would expect. The worst part is you have to drain the water out every time you use it, and put in fresh. I would have kept looking if I would have known that. However!!! For the price it does work!!!
