    Would not recommend this to anyone but the most tech savvy.

    Save your money and get a roku. It's far easier to use and set up, and FAR cheaper. I wanted this because I live in the apple universe and thought it would be fun to apple games on the TV. It's been infinitely harder to set up than a roku, and the apple TV app refuses to connect to my connected apps/TV provider. Must access all the apps seperately, except for Hulu, Paramount+ and Peacock, despite them being downloaded and connected and showing up as connected under TV settings.

    Packaged poorly for shipment by Taget

    This review is not for the Apple TV; but, it is for the packaging done at the Red Wing MN store from which this package was sent. I am exhausted by Target's lack of common courtesy when packaging up merchandise for customers. This item, Apple TV, is obviously fragile, and yet no one who packaged it for shipping via Fed Ex, bothered to secure the merchandise within the box to prevent it from being shaken or crushed during transit. I'm genuinely afraid to open the Apple TV for use, as I'm quite sure it has been damaged internally. The box it was shipped in was crushed and partially opened, the Apple TV packaging from Apple is dented as a result of the turbulence it experienced during its journey. I wonder if this how Target received its order of Apple TVs from Apple? I'm sure the utmost care was given to the product when packaged and sent to Target, the least Target could do is show the same grace and respect to its customers when packaging and sending merchandise. This is not the first time I've received damaged packages from Target, which were not properly secured within the box, I'm also not the only person to complain about this, which speaks volumes to your utter disdain for your customers. Fed Ex ground is notorious for damaging packages, this is common knowledge, the fact Target doesn't use a different shipping company or, at least be sure to secure customer merchandise, speaks volumes. I've been ordering for years, and the last couple years the customer care has gone severely downhill. Not sure what the recourse is for this particular shipment, as I really can't easily exchange the item at a local Target, I'm one hour and 50 minutes from the nearest Target, and both those Targets don't carry Apple TV.

    Constantly messed up - i went to fire stick

    I got this because it was supposedly so easy and had a clean look. My son said he used it. I trust him and I think it does work really well if you’re under the age of 50, but if you’re used to fire stick something about the Amazon it it seemed good but I messed with it and every time I turned it off if I turned it back on, it was constantly disconnecting and just messing up and I’ve got really fast five optic Wi-Fi got the latest one everything it just drove me crazy I finally just took it off. Just wanna warn you I would borrow somebody’s and try before you buy own - I can’t return it inside of the box and it’s just just a waste of $140 for me

    Worth the money

    Definitely worth the money for the upgrade from the Firestick. Although the firestick is more cost friendly, it only has 8gb of memory which was causing it to be very slow and laggy after a while. We decided to upgrade to the Apple TV for our living room and we do not regret it! It is so much faster, better sound quality and great video quality. The only drawback is there is no internet browser option; however, you can stream seamlessly from your phone which is awesome.
