This Mr. Coffee 12 cup coffee maker is perfect for my families needs. We have a regular single serve Keurig and since I’m hosting Easter, the last thing I want to be doing is making 20 individual servings of coffee! So I purchased the Mr. Coffee 12 cup coffee maker and it was the real mvp of Easter. The ease of use and even easier clean up made serving dessert a breeze! Very disappointed. It worked great for 3 months and then died. One feature it's missing is automatic shutoff, so I don't recommend it for both reasons.

Usually I use the 5 cup brew machine and turns off automatically but this is perfect for when I have guest over and don’t have to wait to brew more coffee when needed. This machine doesn’t turn off automatically so definitely not for those who tend to be forgetful. Good for basic use

Handle broke off after only a few days
I have had a Mr. Coffee coffeemaker for many years, but it finally died the other day. I liked it so much, I ordered a similar one (this one) thinking I would love it just as much. I've only had it a few days. Last night I was filling the pot to the 12 cup mark for the first time and the handle cracked off and separated from the pot, causing the pot to break. It was as if the weight from the water was too much pressure for the handle. It happened so fast, I wasn't sure what had actually happened. I looked down and there was a big chunk of glass sitting in my sink. I will be returning it and getting something completely different. I do NOT recommend this coffeemaker.
