This coffee maker makes legitimately the worst coffee I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been drinking coffee for over a decade and this one is the worst I’ve ever used. Somehow routinely burns the coffee while also not making it hot. Every cup of coffee is lukewarm and a strong, burnt mess no matter what kind of grounds you use or how much. I guess you get what you pay for.

However, the big caveat is the carafe’s “dishwasher-safe” claim. While the glass carafe, lid, and filter basket are marketed as dishwasher-safe (and official cleaning instructions suggest hand-washing with mild soap but allow dishwasher use for removable parts), real-world experience shows issues. The carafes easily shatter and the cost to replace a carafe is almost the same as purchasing a whole new coffee maker. That's why I had to purchase this coffee maker.

I had a previous verison of this small coffee maker that worked well for years, so when I needed a new one, I was happy to find this at a reasonable price. It's not fancy but it has everything I need: small size, programmable to turn on right before I wake up, and auto-off. It works great and the coffee seems to be a little stronger than with my old one. One big negative though: the window to see the water level is in the back of the machine. That's ridiculous -- it should be on the side or near the front so I don't have to turn the machine around to see how much water to add. Definitely a design flaw and an inconvenience, but not enough of a problem for me to switch models (yet). Otherwise, I'd give this 5 stars.

Good function for price but stops working quickly
The coffee machine is very easy to use. The programmable function is helpful and intuitive. However, the machine only lasted 4 months before it no longer brews. The "brew now" button turns on, but no coffee brews, and the clock and "brew later" lights don't work.

Do not buy - coffee tastes like plastic
This coffee pot is horrible. The coffee tastes & smells like plastic. I have ran just water through it at least 6-7 times but it has not helped, I am so disappointed. I have had good experiences with Mr. Coffee in the past but I will not buy this brand again.

We loved this pot the first 2 months we had it, then 2 months and a few days in we went to run it like all other previous days, but it didn’t run. Troubleshooted all we could and cannot figure out how to fix it. Disappointing, especially because when we brought it back to the store they said others had issues with this pot as well.

first of all, they put the handle for the pot in the wrong place so when I went to pour it it would easily spill out. wasn't a huge issue but it bothered me a while. Secondly the lid warped and the pot would not longer fit into the warming tray you slide it into, and when I forced it I only broke it further. save your money and frustrations!! dont buy this piece of junk! bought in August last year and its January now it already doesn't work anymore. too late to return it too despite being defective

Pleasantly surprised!
I was pleasantly surprised by this coffee maker! I use it every Sunday for our small group at church. The coffee brews nice and hot and the flavor is surprisingly right.
