Q: Does the machine beep when it’s done brewing? Thank you.
A: Hello Denise, Thank you for your question. The Mr. Coffee 5‑Cup Programmable Coffee Maker is designed with a simple, user‑friendly interface, but it does not include an audible beep to signal when brewing is complete. The unit will finish brewing and keep coffee warm on its own, so we recommend checking the carafe once the brewing cycle is finished. If you need help with operation or settings, we would like to have a chance to assist you further, that is why we strongly encourage you to reach out to us directly via our official "Contact Us" page, or call us at 1-800-672-6333. Q: Can this machine be used with 220 volts?
A: Hello George, Good question. For the Mr. Coffee 5‑Cup Programmable Coffee Maker, it is designed to run on 120 V / 60 Hz, which is the standard voltage in the U.S. Unfortunately, it’s not built to operate on 220 V, and using it on a higher-voltage supply without a proper converter could damage the unit or create a safety risk. Q: How do I turn it off if I'm done drinking before the two hour automatic shut off
A: Hello, thank you for reaching out with your question about the Mr. Coffee® 5-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker. If you’re finished enjoying your coffee before the two-hour automatic shut-off, simply press the “Brew Now” button again. This will cancel the brewing cycle and power off the machine immediately even if it’s already finished brewing and just keeping the coffee warm. This model doesn’t have a separate power switch, so the “Brew Now” button acts as both the start and stop control. If you have any more questions, please reach out to us directly via our official Mr. Coffee website contact-us page, and we will be happy to assist you. Thank you and have a good day!
