Coffee on Demand 12 cup.
I changed from using a pod type coffee maker for 15 years. I was looking for a coffee maker where I could make only a few cups. I finally found this! I like that it can make just a few cups, and keeps the coffee hot. I don't like the gold filter as you can't use a paper filter to line it, per directions. Too hard to clean.

Love this machine
I have owned other brands of coffee makers but this one is the best. I love the fact there is no carafe. They always break or they leak all over the counter if the pause pour clogs. It makes an excellent flavorful cup of coffee. The auto program is easy to use too.

Just ok not what I thought
Its ok. The coffee is weak if you only make a couple of cups. It works just like a regular coffee maker. I misunderstood the single cup and thought it would hold water and coffee and make as needed.

Should last longer than 3 years
We've had this for 3 years and 7 months. It's always had a problem with coffee grounds getting everywhere when you brew it strong but we could live with that because it looks good and keeps the coffee warm. We clean it regularly. Now it's leaking from around the metal plate in the coffee reservoir every time we use it. Looking for a more durable coffee maker this time.

Overall very happy with this unit. Only real complaint is that coffee level gage isnt real accurate, but that can be lived with. As well, it seems the basket is slightly smaller than the previous on demand model we had, and occasionally allows coffee grounds to pass over the top of the filter.

Brewing is not consistent.
I was so excited to find a single serve coffee maker that doesn’t require pods, but I really prefer to brew just one cup of coffee. The first cup was great, but now, I’m having problems with the brewer. It starts pouring into my mug before brewing.

The Coffee on Demand 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker is high-quality. Ours lasted flawlessly for 16 years, every day. Just received our new Coffee on Demand 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker. The brewed coffee never gets scalded in the tank. To keep the Coffee hot past the automatic 'off' feature. Manually turn off the unit for a second and turn it right back on. I've purchased many other Cuisinart products and can honestly say, "They are worth every penny."

Love it...wish reservoir wasn't plastic.
I've had this for years and it works great. I read some reviews that said it leaks but I've found that when this happens it's because grinds get caught in the out-valve of the reservior container. A simple rinse with water and inserting my finger into the valve fixes the problem every time! My only wish...that the reservoir wasn't plastic. I'm trying to eliminate plastics wherever I can, especially if heated, but the other features of this product meet my family's needs perfectly, so I've been hesitant to swap it for another with a carafe. Cuisinart...if you read this, perhaps consider changing the reservoir to stainless.

Best Coffeemaker for HOT! coffee
This coffee maker holds the coffee in a reservoir inside the coffeemaker with a heating element. It always stays hot. This is my second purchase of this same coffeemaker. The first one lasted 6 years. It's a little pricier than others, wish it would have lasted longer, but not much lasts long anymore anyway. Good to see that the power cord has been made longer. Otherwise an attractive, easy to use product.
