I think the only difference in the actual model is that this is supposed to have an additional cold brew option that takes 10-20 minutes.

A: No, the PB051 can’t use Nespresso pods. It’s designed for coffee pods like K-Cups, and for best results we recommends using Keurig® branded pods.

A: No, the Single-Serve coffee maker does not make true espresso. It brews coffee using grounds or pods with three styles: Classic, Rich, or Over Ice. It does not use pressure-based extraction required for authentic espresso. “Specialty coffee” refers to a richer, more concentrated brew, but it is not espresso.

Seems solid but some incorrect data in specs
Just to clarify a few specs and question answers, it brews coffee around 155°, not 200°. Digital thermometer confirmed this. Hotter than some other brands though but not piping hot. The water reservoir is not 68oz as the description says on the website. It says right in the box it’s 56oz. It appears well made but the plastic does feel a little in the cheaper side. But it’s well thought out and compact. Time will tell.

I like the option to use grounds or pods without having to buy extra attachments. I can make regular hot coffee or iced coffee and it comes with a built in frother! I like being able to adjust the amount of coffee it makes and being able to use a small or large cup with it. The menu for this item is perfect for customizing the perfect cup of coffee. It isn't a super quiet machine but that's fine because I love the sound of a coffee maker percolating. *Que the music* "It's time for the percolator, It's time for the percolator!"🤣

My biggest complaint with Keurig and other brands is that the coffee is consistently weak even with the attachments for your own grounds, this Ninja has plenty of room for as much grounds as you want as well as a pod attachment! It makes multiple different styles of coffee and comes with a milk frother! It’s missing nothing. It’s built well and seems very durable and easy to use and convenient for every day use.

Actually very happy with this coffee maker!
I recently had a baby and needed a new coffee maker. I was looking at a bigger version of the ninja coffee maker that did all the things (cold brew, ground coffee, k cups, speciality, etc) but it’s just me that drinks coffee and we have small counters. So I waited to shop around. Then this came out and it checked all the boxes AND is cute and doesn’t take up much space. I’m SUPER happy with it!! I’ve made lattes, so kcups, brewed ground espresso, etc. everything is great. Yes it’s not true espresso but honestly very versatile, convenient, and has options. I can make fancier drinks or just brew a quick kcup. I like good quality coffee or brews but am not a coffee snob. It has a treated a newly postpartum and tired mom well. And got it on sale for like $109 honestly good price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ninja pods and brew works great. I like the flexibility of using pods or grounds coffee for larger amounts. It’s also nice that it does up to 24 ounces only issue was that with the tray some mugs were too tall so I had to remove it to brew 20 ounces. I like the ease that I can make more coffee when people are visiting. It’s fairly quiet and it’s nice that it holds a lot of water. I like that you can store either the pod or the tray. Canister inside the machine hidden away, and there’s also a scoop bonus that it also can froth milk. It is slim, but it is rather long in size so it still will take up some space but not as much since the water tank is behind if you are short space.

All the bells but what of the cost?
This works but make no mistake all the bells and whistles can easily be done at home without this machine. I purchased because for whatever reason this was cheaper than a regular drip coffees maker at Target. it takes up a small amount of space but if your using the brother or making the lattes and grinding your own coffee beans then its the same space used as any other coffee space. I wish I could get it to brew hotter but its not changeable. its easy to use but honestly I'm waiting for it to break it just doesn't seem like a machine thats built to last long. find something sturdier. More options doesn't mean a better machine.

The problem is I am the only one who drink coffee so this one make me happy and dance around because it can do everything that the big guy can do, but in a small and compact version, it is very perfect for a single person who love coffee in the house could not say much more good thing about this coffee machine at all easy to use you can choose between crowd, coffee, or pot coffee, and also still have version you can choose between classic Rich Hebrew and special like the big one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always making 2-3 cups of coffee a day so I’m excited to now have this Ninja single serve grounds & pods hot & iced coffee maker. The water reservoir is removable and makes it easy to fill it with water. I like that it came with a coffee measuring scoop and I love that on the side of the coffee machine, I can pull out the built in frother & use it when I want to make specialty coffee drinks. It also comes with a grounds filter brew basket and a ninja pod adaptor. I love having the option of either making coffee from grounds or pods. I like to do both. The adjustable cup tray , I can move it up or down to place my cup on so it reduces splashing. The water heats based on my coffee style and has brew cycles. My favorite part is the buttons on top and being able to choose between: classic & rich, over ice, cold brew, & specialty brew. I choose over ice and specialty brew the most. The coffee turns out great and tastes amazing. It’s easy clean after using & I haven’t had any issues with it. I enjoy using this coffee maker & so far it’s the best one I’ve owned and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Love it. My dad’s favorite new coffee maker.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think it’s great. I have used other machines before and this one is simple to use and understand. The machine is very easy to use as well. It takes K cups which is makes finding the right types of pods easier. I haven’t used grounds yet but the instructions make it simple how to use it when the time comes. It is a bit heavy but because it’s slim, it is easy to find a placement on counters. Before this machine, my dad used to just drink instant coffee but now he uses it all the time.

It’s definitely an upgrade from my previous coffee maker. I’m typically a 4 to 6 oz coffee type of gal but I love that I can make up to 24 ounces for family. My favorite feature is the attached frother. It’s so fun! lol The option to use either grounds or pods is great. I’m team grounds but in the case I come across pods I’m glad to be able to use them. It also comes with a measuring scoop which is convenient. I have yet to try iced coffee with it but I have no doubt it’ll come out great. My coffee comes out quick and hot and I’m extremely satisfied with that! I’ll for sure recommend the Ninja brand coffee maker to anyone who asks!

Incorrect title
At the time of my review on 11/23/2025 the title of this product is "Ninja Single-Serve Pods Grounds Deluxe Espresso Machine & Hot & Iced Specialty Coffee Maker with Rapid Cold Brew Green" but in the questions section the Ninja brand has responded saying this DOES NOT make espresso.
