    I originally loved the machine but like other reviews the espresso side stopped working and piercing the pods. We tried all the trouble shooting and cleaning recommendations but it still would not pierce the pods. My husband loves having an iced coffee with espresso shot and I like either a regular hot cup of coffee or latte. It was a perfect combination for us but now he goes back to buying coffee and there's no counter space for a separate eapresso machine.

    Replacing & hoping it dosent fail in a year again

    This will be my last Ninja product that I buy, unless it exceeds expectations for the next 5 years. This is my second time purchasing this exact unit. Our last unit became defective after just over a year of use, the nespresso side no longer worked. I was faced with the decision of disposing of almost $100 worth of nespresso pods, or buying the machine again. 4 stars for now, I will update if needed

    Doesnt keep coffee warm

    Love the removable reservoir, it’s why I bought it, it doesn’t make the coffee hot enough or automatically keep the coffee warm. Cold within the hour if you forget to hit the warm button at beginning of brewing.

    Ninja Family

    Have been looking at this model for over a year. We have a Ninja Keurig pod multi brewer but wanted the Nespresso pod feature. When it went on sale and the website offered another 10% off, that was the time to buy. Now with this unit and our Ninja Cafe Lux, I have all of my coffee bases covered! Love Ninja products!

    Awful product and service

    It broke on me a little over a year into. The electronics went crazy and it stopped working. Ninja would not replace it. Awful experience.

    Not 100% satisfied

    I've had this machine just shy of 3 years and already will not work..the water reservoir will not pump the water through the machine..for the money., I really expected more use/longer before tearing up...I love my shark/ninja products, so this leaves me to question the over all worth

    Great all in one machine!

    This coffee and espresso machine is wonderful! The drip coffee is delicious as is the espresso and I really like the milk frother! For my preference, I brew 2 Nespresso capsules for a cappuccino. It’s also important to know that you have to heat the milk first before frothing it. I enjoy the ability to make cold froth with this, but I would like if they would add a steam wand frother in addition to the cold frother (that would be amazing). All in all, I really like my new coffee and espresso machine!

    Expected better

    I purchased the Ninja CFN601 in August 2024, and this is the first time I have been genuinely disappointed by a Ninja product. Every small appliance in my home is Ninja or Shark. My air fryer, blender, vacuum, and previous coffee makers have all been from this brand and have consistently performed extremely well. That is what makes this experience especially frustrating. From early on, this unit has consistently dripped and leaked, and the ground coffee chamber retains moisture after each use. This creates a constant mess and, more concerning, a clear mold risk. We even purchased a reusable basket in an attempt to reduce the mess, but it made no meaningful difference. For a machine at this price point, this level of design flaw is unacceptable. The only function that has worked consistently is the Nespresso pod side. However, even that has recently started making an extremely loud noise during brewing. I keep the machine thoroughly cleaned and desccale it every month, so this is not a maintenance issue. Given my long history with Ninja and Shark products, I hope this is an isolated issue with this unit. I would really appreciate Ninja taking a closer look and helping resolve this, as I would love to remain a loyal customer.

    Horrible disappointment

    I bought this machine a couple of months ago. After 15+ years of using ninja coffee machines and only replacing the last one because I broke the carafe and it is no longer made I decided I wanted to try this one. It is horrible! 1st, if I make a full pot of coffee on rich setting with the recommended grounds, it floods. Hot water and coffee grounds out of the top. It is impossible to clean the piece where the water enters the grounds if floods and it floods daily. The drip stop DOES NOT work. The espresso part worked well for a while but now continuously says add water even when it has a full water tank. I have cleaned it per the instructions multiple times with the hope that was the issue but it should not require cleaning cycles between single uses and it doesn’t seem to help anyway. I am so disappointed because the espresso maker is so easy and convenient and tasty but not when I have to fight it for a single cup.

    ⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointed With the Ninja Coffee Maker I really wanted to like this coffee maker, but after a few weeks of use, I’m pretty disappointed. The biggest issue is inconsistency—some days the coffee tastes fine, and other days it comes out weak or bitter even when I use the exact same settings. The machine also tends to leak a little from the brew basket, which leaves a mess on the counter every morning. The warming plate doesn’t seem to keep the coffee hot for very long either; within 30 minutes, it’s already lukewarm. For the price, I expected something much more reliable and better built. It looks nice on the counter, but overall, it just hasn’t lived up to the hype for me. Not the worst machine I’ve ever used, but definitely not worth the cost.

    All in one coffee and expresso maker

    I bought the product about a month ago. The first machine worked fine for about two weeks and then on the coffee brew side started making a loud noise. I contacted Ninja and after diagnosing over the phone, they replaced my machine within a few days. Second machine has worked great. I am totally happy with how the machine brews coffee and also expresso in one machine.

    Not Up to Ninja Standards

    Hubby bought this for me for Christmas in 2022 and it was great. Used both sides and almost all of the features with no issues. But then came year and half mark. It started flashing for no reason and couldn't stop it until you unplugged it. Called support and because it wasn't doing it during the video call, nothing they could do (they said). Then it started cutting off mid brew and the warming/hot plate wouldn't stay on for the set amount of time (4 hours and sometimes not even the 2 hours). At year two, can no longer program a timer for the brewing. I no longer use the espresso side because they changed the shape of the pods (Nespresso and store brand versions). Here it is almost 3 years since we purchased it and the coffee is no longer as hot as it used to be. I don't like my coffee piping hot when I drink it but I don't want it to go lukewarm or cold the moment I add a little creamer in it either. By some of the reviews I see I am not the only one going through this which is disappointing. My other Ninja products (Blender I have had for YEARS and an air fryer) are still functioning very well. At least some of y'all got offered "discounts" on your next purchase. I didn't even get that. This costs way too much to function at low quality. They need to take this off of the site and discontinue it.

    I LOVE this system. I went from spending far too much at a national coffee chain to making my own latte's at home. My husband loves his Americanos and this machine gives us each what we want every morning!

    Unresponsive after less than 3 years

    My machine lasted less than three years. It's unresponsive and the led's just cycle through the options as if it's in store demo mode. Brews fine, but you'd think it would have lasted me longer.

    1 Star - waste of pods

    1 star I’ve owned this machine for less than a year and on my second unit. Ninja cannot get the nespresso pod dispenser to work properly without wasting endless pods that are never brewed. When Ninja was contacted for the second time their only solution was a downgrade to a machine worth half of its price! When I asked for a credit to put towards a better coffee machine (willing to pay the difference) I was refused! Not at all what I expected from this brand from which I have purchased endless appliances!
