Q: This air purifier is marketed for rooms up to 1,876 square feet; however, upon receipt of the air purifier, the box says it is for large rooms 380 square feet. That is quite a big difference. Which one is it?

A: The Vital 200S has an effective range of 388 ft² based on 4.8 air changes per hour (ACH). When the ACH is 4.8, the purifier filters the air in the room around five times an hour (or once every 12 minutes). The same air purifier can also clean a 1,876-square-foot room, but it may take longer to clean the air (about 1 ACH). The unit simply has to be left running for a bit longer for a larger room size. The air purifier is effective for larger rooms, but air purification will take longer, with fewer air changes per hour.

Q: Occasionally when I turn on my 200S, it makes 4 short 'buzz' sounds before it starts circulating air. What does this mean? I could not find info about it in the manual I got.

A: The Vital 200S features a display off button that disables all display lights. This unit also features a Light Detection function that detects the room's brightness and adjusts accordingly to the ambient light (this feature can be turned on/off through the app). A: The Washable Pre-Filter should be cleaned every 2–4 weeks to increase efficiency and extend the life of your filter. You can clean the pre-filter using a soft brush or vacuum hose to remove hair, dust, and large particles. Optionally, you can wash the pre-filter with water and a mild detergent to remove dirt and dust (please ensure the filter is completely dry before placing back into the air purifier). The main filter should be replaced every 12 months.

Had to order online because it was sold out in the stores here which is fine. However. When I received the item I received a used and returned air purifier. When I opened the box and lifted the item out dog hair came out of it and all over the floor. When I looked at the filter inside it was brown. I called customer service and they were less than helpful. I did return the item since it was used. They asked if I would like them to order me another one and I declined due to already receiving a used one

The best filter EVER! And I’ve bought many!
This filter is amazing. I have bought them for my boyfriend‘s house and my sister‘s house. My boyfriend‘s house is an old apartment in our city. Super stinky got bad allergies after two days there this filter changed everything. It’s clean air now same for my sister‘s house five cats I couldn’t even go in the house. It’s tolerable.

Great quality
I purchased 5 of these air purifiers for my home. I am really pleased with the quality of these machines. They genuinely seems like they are well built and the company put a lot of time and energy into making sure they are simple and easy to use. I do wish they could use an industry standard air filter. HOWEVER, the levoit filters seem SUPER nice and I truly believe they will do a phenomenal job filtering many types of particulates, dust, pollen, etc.

Bought this air purifier to replace an older model Levoit air purifier. My cat knocked it over and it would no longer work. It makes just the right amount of noise to help me sleep and it's a quality product. We need a quality air purifier with 4 dogs and 2 cats.
