Excellent tracking and display, a major step up
I bought my 165 as a replacement for my 55 Forerunner. The 165 improves upon the 55 not only in its tracking of running and fitness data, but also in its sleep tracking, which is more detailed and seems to be significantly more accurate. The display is also a step-up.

Better products and apps available.
The watch is okay. Apps not so much. Having two apps is uncalled for today. Took the watch back and will return to Amazfit.

Love my watch
Recently switched from Apple Watch to a Garmin. I mainly wanted to switch because I am passionate about running and read that Garmin is better for athletes. I honestly am very happy with my Garmin experience overall, the battery life is incredible, it seems very durable, and I’ve seen such a difference using it during runs compared to my old watch. I only have one complaint and that is app notifications on watch. I have turned off “app notifications” on my watch and no matter what I do they still pop up. Overall I am very happy with my Garmin experience and would recommend to any runner.

Doesn't live up to the hype
Used this watch to record an 22 mile endurance hike and it only recorded half my steps. so now I'm questioning is the other data is accurate. battery life is also only 3 days max.

I upgraded from my Garmin 55 and am so happy I did! The 55 still works fine, just battery life was becoming unreliable after 6 years.

Very powerful
I bought this a few weeks ago am still discovering what it can do. Definitely more complex than any I’ve had before. A few types of exercise have not been found as of yet, but not giving up on it.

Love the Forerunner
I love that this watch is easy to use. I had my last Forerunner for 12 years, and everyone was recommending that I upgrade to some fancier Garmin, but I stuck with this one. It has all the features I need and more.

Great Features
I had to purchase a new Garmin about a month ago because my other Garmin broke. A piece of the watch face where the band attaches chipped off. The watch itself is still in working condition. I looked to see if there was a way to fix it but I did not have any luck. I love Garmin watches and would recommend them and have recommended them to my friends. I love that they are waterproof and have a great battery life. The Forerunner 165 that I have now is a touch screen which I really appreciate as well.

Love my Forerunner 165
Love it. I mainly bought it to do more swimming drills and love how it works. It doesn’t change screens or get affected by water touching the screen.

Very satified
I've been using it for 2 months and it is more user friendly than my previous Forerunner. It's a little more stylish also.

Forerunner 165
Watch says 11 days of battery life but I’m getting 5 days. I would have bought the next level if I had known but it’s still better than my old name brand watch. The watch takes some orientation if new user. Overall I like it but wishing I had upgraded to next 1-2 levels, I wanted to make sure I would like before spending the money. I ordered directly off the Garmin website, which was an easy, no pressure option.

Mediocre at Best
It’s a decent watch but It’s too busy and complicated to navigate through the options. I feel like just putting it back to factory settings

The complete package.
Far exceeds my expectations. I also think its a value. Still learning all the bells and whistles. This is my second Garmin watch.

Outstanding Battery life
I bought this watch for running but I have really enjoyed using it as a smartwatch as well. The baseline heart rate zoning was way off on my first run but that adjusted itself over time. The battery is what I’m most impressed by though. I went on a 7 day work trip without my charger and when I got home I still had about 25% battery. It also charges in like an hour. My only complaint is you have to frequently sync it in the app to keep up to date weather information.
