Buns don’t brown evenly.

Received the Oscar Meyer branded version as a gift. Does fine cooking hotdogs but one has to fully open the buns to prevent scorching of the bun edges as the elements transfer heat to a metal plate facing the inside of the buns. Browning buns in a grill or skillet produces better results. Really just a novelty item.
