I bought this a couple months ago and thought it would have more suction and more run time. I also have a hard time opening the dust collector lid on it. I have to use a key or knife to get it to open.

Doesn't last for the pric.
Bought this product less than 90 days and has completely stopped working. The power button started to go out and would have to press several times. Then completely stopped.

Worst Shark product EVER
I am a Shark vacuum loyalist, all of my vacuums are Shark, but this handheld is abysmal. I get so excited when I get a new vacuum because typically they are so much better because I go so long between new ones. My current handheld is 10 years old and still chugging just with the attachment barely hanging on, so I bought this one since it was on sale. I took it home, and took it out and went straight for some pet hair on furniture (we have 5 fur babies), and it only picked up about 1% of the hair after SEVERAL passes. I took my 10 year old vacuum and it cleaned it all of it up in one pass. I went to empty the new one, and it had only picked up a PINCH of hair after using for 10 minutes. Took it straight back.

Flawed mechanics
Mechanism for opening canister doesn't work. I bought this in 2024 and had problems from the first time I tried to empty the cannister. Never has released properly and requires a screw driver to open it now just so I can empty the canister.
