Best vacuum I've ever owned. Does great on hardwood and is powerful.

The vacuum is great but one of the attachments is completely coming apart. I'm not really interested in returning the whole vacuum but I think the attachment should last longer than a month. I purchased the vacuum the end of December 2025.

Good suction. Good with pet hair. Wish it had retractable and longer cord. Overall, good vacuum at this price point.

This vacuum starting spitting everything out instead of detangling then started not working a month into it.

Still new, but so far really liking this vacuum

After a couple hours of research I chose the vacuum cleaner. I had a feeling I should make a different choice because I have.2 sharks ar home. The amount of work to maintain the one at home. The roller with hair always getting wrapped around it, 2 different filters to clean and replace, emptying the canister and dog hair getting stuck in the hose. My old vacuum as a kid we attached a paper bag and threw it away when full, so easy. Mine stopped working so my mom lent me hers and after a week it stopped picking up. Now to my brand new one! My very first time using it halfway through the house it stopped picking up lent. That's it, an issue on day 1. Im returning it. I do have 2 Huskies that shed a lot and live in a dusty desert, so want a tough vacuum cleaner with good suction and easy to use. I certainly want one to last much longer than a day. I also bought these protection package for $33. Target won't refund that so quite a donation.

So I bought this a little over a month ago-ish and so far I love it!! I have 2 toddlers and a golden so I needed something that was strong and easy to use! This does the job for sure. The suction power is strong and cleans up every mess. I was shocked on how much it got up the first time I used it and what my previous vacuum was leaving behind. I like that it has two options for carpets and hardwood/title floors. Negatives for me are that it isn’t cordless bc my previous was cordless so I was used to that & it is a bit on the heavier side (what a normal full size vacuum would be) but I’ll take it with how well it works! If you are looking for a good vacuum and trying to figure out which one to pick, this is a great option!

Stopped working 2 months after getting it.

This is a nice vacuum. It has good suction and I like that the rollers don’t get hair wrapped around them. My only complaint is that it’s a little heavy and difficult for o maneuver around furniture, but my husband says he doesn’t have any issues at all. Just something to be aware of.

We LOVE this! It picks up a bunch of stuff every single time..makes you wonder what's really in your carpet!!

TL;DR: overall, good vacuum that does suck. Extra roll makes a difference in getting up the dust and dander. Tackles my dog hair well. Main roll does not get hair wrapped around it, as advertised. Lighter weight but feels cheap. On/off switch not as conveniently located as other models. Doesn’t maneuver as well on hardwood - rigid and doesn’t really want to turn as much. I’ve owned Sharks for years, so I’ve come accustomed to their abilities and features. My previous Shark was a Vertex so I think I’m a little biased in not finding this one super exceptional. If I paid full price for it, I would have been disappointed, but its sale price point was closer to what I was wanting to pay for compared to the price of the Vertex. The double roll I think makes a difference in the vacuuming capability, which is a major pro of this model. It’s accurate when it says hair doesn’t wrap around the main roller. The odor neutralizing feature is new to me. I haven’t noticed anything wildly different but I’m sure it’s not hurting anything. The way to remove bottom part is convenient with the foot step but again, not as convenient as my old vacuum where it was placed where you’d naturally go to grab the handle on the canister to separate the vacuum from where the rollers are. Of course the color is beautiful but that’s not why I bought it. A few other drawbacks: it’s lighter weight, at least when compared to the Vertex model, which could be a benefit, but it also feels pretty cheaply made for $400. The handle especially feels lower quality. If it hits the ground, guaranteed it will crack or break. The buttons/ways to get pieces apart are not placed in convenient locations and also feel cheap and thin, but maybe I’m spoiled from my old one that had the power button on the main handle. Lastly, it doesn’t maneuver well. It’s rigid and doesn’t “turn” as well as my old vacuum. It really only wants to operate on the standard forward/diagonal movement for carpets. I know I compared this to a more expensive model a lot in this review, but I can confidently say I still would have been disappointed with how cheap it feels and the inconvenient locations of the buttons (that they don’t photograph in their ads), especially if I paid full price for it. At the right sale price, I’d still recommend this vacuum overall.

I can’t recommend this enough!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t waste your time with any other vacuum. Is it dramatic to say it’s life changing how well it works. I have 8 cats and it does an amazing job keeping the house clean. Plus it’s quiet and doesn’t disturb them.

Very disappointed in their shipping service, promised it would be delivered Christmas Eve and didn’t see it till the following Monday, and my dad had left and didn’t get the gift, very sad.

Bought this to replace my shark that was about the same price point. This one is very cheaply made. The hoses disconnect when you try to use it in lift away mode. The dust cup empties in the other direction and takes getting used to. The suction isn’t very good either. This is a $100 vacuum being sold for a premium price.

Really wanted a Dyson, tried it and hated it. The lack of convenience features made me nuts. While shopping my Mechanical Engineer husband, he insisted this Shark was a better vacuum. I didn’t listen, of course, and bought the Dyson initially. After returning the Dyson, I grabbed this Shark, and realized it had all the features I needed, was waaaayyyy easier to use, and maneuvers really well. He was right, and I had to tell him so. I didn’t like that. But thank you Shark for making a great vacuum!

I love how it collects all the dirt. It is the best thing I’ve ever bought. I would definitely buy this thing again and most people are right. Shark is better than Dyson and I am never going back to a Dyson

The vacuum is fine. The experience sucked. After ordering online because our locate store was out of stock. The delivery date was changed 3 times while the vacuum was still in warehouse. We found a non local store with the vacuum in stock and drove there and bought it. The issue was Target would not cancel this order even thought the item never left the warehouse. Target said once they shipped the vacuum they would have the shipper return the item and refund the charge. That never happened either. Target did eventually ship the vacuum and charged our card. Then we had to return the vacuum.

The redesign on the liftaway is horrible! It's no longer a one hand job to lift away to reach under furniture. The power switch and setting changes is a pain in the rear. And the cord hangers are too low to be of much use. I'm returning.
