A: Heavily fragranced. I placed it in BUT turned it OFF and my asthma and allergies got out of control. Still releases a smell. I removed the whole thing and still smells when vacuuming. I am returning it

Q: The Odor Neutralizer Cartridge smells too strong. I removed the whole thing. Still smells… what happens if the vacuum is used without the cartridge piece?

A: The odor dial cover needs to be installed for the vacuum to function properly. If you do not wish to use the odor neutralizer technology system, please follow the below steps: Remove the odor dial from the nozzle. Flip up the handle and rotate the dial clockwise until the two teal arrows are aligned. Pull the handle to lift the dial out of the nozzle. Remove the odor cartridge by rotating the cartridge counterclockwise in the dial housing and pull out the cartridge. Install the dial cover back into the nozzle without the cartridge. Align the teal arrow on the dial cover with the teal arrow on the nozzle, then reinsert the dial cover into the nozzle. To lock, rotate the cover counterclockwise until it clicks into place. Dispose of cartridge by dropping it in the trash.

Absolutely Love!
I just got this today and I did a quick test run and it's Awesome! I'm disabled so I like that it's not heavy at all! Also I have a cat and it had no problem with the litter, or the litter dust that seems to be everywhere. I have very long hair that falls out everywhere and I haven't had a vacuum in a while because my hair ALWAYS ruins the vacuum because of hair wrap. This vacuum had ZERO hair wrapped around it. ZERO. That's worth the price of admission! Also, I have a regular size apartment with no carpet, but I had no problem doing the whole place without having to empty the dust bin, so I'm not sure about the people saying it's too small. It was fine for me. The cord is a little stiff right out of the box but I see that as it's going to be more durable! I LOVE this vacuum!

Disappointed
Wanted to love it. The board is stiff and constantly in the way. So regret not getting cordless. The head gets instantly clogged can’t even do more than a few stairs without unclogging it. Like the setup but that’s kinda pointless since it’s constantly clogging.

Works great on hard surfaces and carpet
Arrived today, very quick delivery. I'm impressed at the power/suction this stick vacuum has . Have owned a Rotator Powered Lift Away Professional for years (2+ dogs and 2 cats) which does a great job but wanted something for quick cleanups on the main level which is primarily hard surfaces. With a minimum of 2 large dogs (that shed continuously) and 2 cats with longer fur, the fur accumulates quickly. Amazing job on the hardwood and stone tiles so I thought I'd try it out on the wall-to-wall carpet on the bedroom level (mostly medium pile but one large room with low pile])--- wow did a great job. As others have said, the cup is on the small side but this was to supplement my Shark vacuum so not a big deal. Easy to assemble, very easy to operate and very maneuverable (even on carpeted stairs !). The cord is a nice length, it is stiff (I worked on it as I unpacked to straighten out the bends from packing). As a bonus most of the accessories from my Rotator fit on this one !

Great vacuum
I've been using this for a little over a month and it's doing an excellent job. Great suction and the rotary isn't collecting hair, I've never had a sweeper that's been able to to that. The connection point where the stick and motor connect has a little wiggle, is the only thing that concerns me. If you need a vacuum for an apartment I don't think there's a better option.

So far so good!
I just received my vacuum today and did a test run. As a house cleaner for 22 years, I used several styles, and brands of vacuums. Shark has become one of my favourite brands and after watching and reading reviews on this particular model I decided to purchase it. So far I love this vacuum but time will tell with daily use how it holds up. The main thing to remember is to keep the washable filters clean and replace the hepa filter as needed.

I love it so far!
Just got my vacuum and went around the whole house and it did great! Going from my rugs to the hard floor was simple and it cleaned everything well. Great suction and roller power. It did have SOME difficulty on one of my thicker rugs but I just had to push a little bit rather than the vacuum moving for me. The container is small and fills kinda quick, but I have four animals so there’s a lot of fur. Also the vacuum is small so doing hand held tasks like upholstery should be really easy.

Very happy with this purchase. The vacuum has great suction. The attachments are helpful, especially when using the vacuum as a hand vacuum. The pet attachment works well too. Super easy to put together, and ready to go in less than 10, this includes opening the box and unpacking the vacuum and packaging material.

I really like it
It’s light, with good suction. It’s also easy to maneuver and get to corners. The cord is long enough to reach most bedroom spaces. I like that I don’t have to worry about battery power left, but the dust cup is somewhat small and it takes multiple emptying if you’re doing the whole house, so one star off. But otherwise a great vacuum!

Too hard to move on carpeting
We have owned this product for a year and it has excellent suction as advertised. However, there are 2 major design flaws. FIrst, the suction is so great it is not useable by my wife on carpeting or rugs, its suction is so great it sticks to the carpet and she cant move it. It needs a suction reducer for those situations. Second, it doesn't stand up and must be leaned agains a wall when stopping to move something.

Easy to Use
I bought this sweeper 2 weeks ago. I already have the exact same sweeper last year. I love it. I keep one upstairs and one downstairs . It is so light and easy to move around. It’s very fast and can clean several rooms in about 15 minutes. Also very easy to clean too. Love it!

I bought this vacuum a month ago and am very pleased with it. The first time I went over my carpet, the container was totally full and the second time too. Klb am amazed at the ease of the carpet to floor . I purchased it for its lightness, ease of getting into corners and picking up dust from floors. I chose the corded one so I could use it anytime. Right now I'm glad I bought it.

Great suction
I bought this as a gift for my daughter as I also have the same one. We both love it, the suction on this thing is amazing. I have a robot vacuum that runs every other day and this shark is still picking up a lot of dust from my carpets! It's light weight and doesn't take a lot to push and pull
