Good basic coffee maker

I like that the brew door swings out. The problem with any drip machine is that coffee sometimes drips onto the burner, but if you swing this door open first before removing the pot, you can avoid that problem.

Great little coffeemaker

This coffeemaker makes a great cup of coffee. But for what appears, at first glance to be a very basic coffeemaker, it has some very well-thought-out features. It fits easily on the counter, under the upper cabinets, with over 6" to spare. The water fill is from the front, and the coffee basket swings out, so it is unnecessary to move it to set up a new pot of coffee. When you are done brewing, swing out the basket and lift it off, making disposing of grounds less messy, and easy to rinse the basket. The only feature I would wish for, that is not on this little gem, would be an auto-shut-off after an hour or 2. For our family, this is just a convenience, but it might be something important to another person.

this worked well for about a year and then started to leak. other than that, no issues and appreciated the small size of it (we have limited counter-top space in our kitchen)

Not impressed

We had a hard time making coffee in this coffee maker. The water is poured in at the top and you have to go slow or it will over flow. The pot that holds the coffee has to be removed so as not to grab onto the coffee grounds cup. We had grounds in our coffee twice and had to pour it out. We've only had this for 3 days and we've decided not to use it and will purchase a different coffee maker. This Proctor Silex is coffee maker is not worth getting it to save space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is a coffee lover. His old pot was a single serve and he wanted an upgrade. This one works very well and quickly at that. The only issue we've found is that you have to make certain you pour the water in slowly. Otherwise it's an excellent no frills coffee maker.

Great quality coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is a game changer for me. It's programmable so I can pre-set it to start brewing when I wake up. Another great feature on this coffee pot is that you are able to choose from 3 brew strengths. It's very efficient and only takes around 4 minutes to brew 12 cups. There is an automatic shut-off after 2 hours which is nice. I'm very happy with it.

Perfect for our kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is had a compact design but can make up to 12 cups of coffee. This is perfect for my house because we have only 1 coffee drinker and limited counter space. I like that it still makes enough for company when needed. It is easy to use, especially because you can fill from the front without pulling the coffee maker all the way out to the edge of the counter, like some taller types require. It's simple to use as well and the coffee comes out perfect.
