    Targe poor service!

    I ordered this machine and it never arrived. I talked to several Target customer service agents and did Nothing about it! Although it is Targets driver who 'delivered' it, tha package was never received by the buyer. Poor service. They just said there is nothing that can do. It is an expensive machine and I got no help only to say we delivered it. What a scam!

    Not consistent coffee maker

    Very fussy machine. Waste a ton of beans trying to make coffee. They will blame the beans the coffee company blames Breville. You end up wasting money.

    Great Entry-Level, Reliable Espresso Machine

    This is the second time I purchased this same machine after my first one reached the end of its life at 8ish years. Very happy with this machine and should be an excellent choice for anyone looking to be their own at home barista. Easy to use and maintain, huge community of people and lots of content online from youtube and other socials on tips and tricks. I do caution there is a learning curve with the tamping and dosing so if you're not looking to be head deep in the world of coffee/espresso, should explore other less involved machines from Breville. Best practice tip: To limit constant adjustments dosing and wasting coffee, ideally you find a roast you love and stick with it. Each coffee is slightly different and so each time you change it out (even if the new coffee is also the same roast level, say medium roast), you most likely need to recalibrate and for those new to the machine, you will be frustrated.

    Barista Express Review

    Love the machine, last one lasted 15 years....over 14,000 cups. Purchased a new one, having just one issue.....the portafilter is extremely had to engage. My wife struggles with it. Last unit was much easier.

    Great All in Espresso Machine

    I bought this for almost a month. I'm happy with this purchase as I can make my own delicious Latte, Cappucino and Americano with fresh coffee beans. So far the machine worked as I expected. I wish the steamer wand can be a bit longer as frothing milk with included 16oz milk pitcher a bit challenging for me if I only put 200ml milk because I don't like too much milk in my latte. Other than that I think it's a great machine.

    Truly surprised

    This is the 4th espresso machine I bought within the last year. I won't mention the other brands, but they are considered comparable. I sent the previous 3 back, because they didn't make a real espresso, but this machine does. Dial it in, learn to use it, and it's the best bang for buck option hands down.

    sthethe grinder gets blocked easily, after 2 weeks the coffee stopped flowing form the grinder despite multiple times cleaning it. and despite following the isntructions an changing the grind size, amotun tof coffee the pressure arrow will msot of the time show lotw extraction pressure.. the milk frother was good though

    Step up with my new Breville.

    Received my Breville machine last week and absolutely love it. Upgraded from my previous Breville and love the built in grinder which not only gives me the perfect portions but literally no mess like before.

    For the advanced

    I expected to watch a few tutorial videos and get it. This machine constantly causes me problems. The milk frother also is really bad. You’d be better off with an Amazon frother where you just push a button. The lattes are good when you finally get the pressure right, but it’s not an easy machine which was a misunderstanding on my part. It’s definitely a machine to buy if you’re into espresso and want to learn as a hobby

    I met my bride over a cup of coffee many years ago. For our first anniversary, I purchased a home coffee roaster, and we have enjoyed roasting for many years. I love the smell of a city or dark roast, nothing compares to that delicious smell of fresh roasted coffee. Now that we bought the Breville barista express machine, I am for the first time in my life – able to make a cup of coffee that tastes as good as the fresh roasted beans smell. !!! this is wonderful

    I bought this on a whim to please my holiday guests and I'm obsessed! It looks lovely on my counter and I have become quite the barista! I love the grinder! While I was afraid this was going to be a purchase that wasn't super useful and, it has already saved me many trips to the local coffee shop. This will definitely be a purchase that gets used often and ends up saving me money and time!

    The best coffee I’ve ever had

    I bought this a few weeks ago after using my family members every time I visited. I finally went out and bought myself one and it is the best purchase I’ve ever made for my home. It took some fine tuning to get the grounds just right but it’s so worth it!
