Native Restoring Shampoo, Sensitive Series Bare Melon - 18oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off with how much I LOVE the smell of this! Its delightful! I look forward to hair day just for the smell alone. The shampoo feels like there is conditioner in it while I wash my hair bc it feels silky and not dry like most shampoos. And I dont always need to do 2 washes. The conditioner is soft, but its not silky. I almost feel like the shampoo feels more silky when rinsing than the conditioner. I thought that would be a problem, but I figured I'd give it a few more washes until I write an hinest review. Once my hair is towel dried, I comb it. This is where I need my hair to feel silky bc then it start to fall out from brushing. At first, I didnt like it. It wasn't silky enough, but once if I sprayed heat protection on it first, it was better. Still, that didnt bother me since I found a solution. I give it 5 stars bc of the smell, the feel while in the shower, and the results once I blow dry my hair. Once I blow dry it, its silky smooth and feels and smells great. Highly recommend!

I wanted to love this. It’s smells heavenly for someone who can only use unscented products. But I have fine, tends to be a bit oilier hair and it definitely weighs it down and makes it look and feel greasier faster.

I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a drugstore brand make my hair feel like this! So buttery soft! Just make sure if you grab the shampoo, you also pick up the conditioner. I’m not sure what exactly in Natives new sensitive shampoos makes the hair look so good after washing, but I absolutely love it. It feels good while washing, it makes a great foamy lather, a little goes a long way, and it doesn’t make your hair feel unmanageable once the shampoo is washed out.

The scent is the same light, subtle honeydew melon that smells fresh and clean. The shampoo gathers nicely and feels gentle on my scalp. It cleans my hair well without stripping it. After rinsing, my hair feels fresh, clean, and ready for the conditioner to be applied.

I have a somewhat sensitive scalp, so I always look for gentle products and this one worked very well for me. The bottle is an easy pump top, which is so convenient for in the shower. Let's you decide how much or little you need to use. This is a clean product that has hypoallergenic fragrance, naturally derived ceramides, and a lot of naturally derived ingredients. It is also free of silicones, sulfayes, parabens, dyes, phthalates, and mit. I loved how it made my hair feel and look after use. My hair was silky smooth without the frizz. I will definitely keep this on on rotate. If you like products that are made with clean ingredients, then give this a try.
