Q: Does this remove yellowing from smoke on gray hair?
A: Hi there! Thank you for reaching out about our EverPure Clarify Shampoo. Our Clarifying Shampoo removes hair residue while our Restoring Conditioner locks in hydration to reveal bright, visibly healthy color that lasts, for all hair types. Gray hair can turn yellow from several factors, like hard water, pollution, sun damage, product buildup from shampoos or styling products, and heat damage from styling. We recommend trying our EverPure Silver Care Shampoo, a brightening shampoo that nourishes silver and gray hair. The salon-quality formula gently cleanses without stripping moisture. We hope this helps!

Q: Will this help get rid of silver/ gray toner and bring it back to its natural color?
A: Hello MD! Thank you for reaching out with your question about our EverPure Clarify Shampoo for Build Up. This shampoo is specifically formulated to deeply cleanse the hair and scalp, removing impurities and product build-up that can weigh hair down and make it look dull. While clarifying shampoos can help to gently remove excess product and residues, they are not primarily designed to strip or remove artificial hair color, such as toners, and restore your hair to its natural shade. To effectively remove a silver/gray toner and revert to your natural hair color, we would recommend seeking guidance from a professional hairstylist. They can assess your hair's condition and advise on the most suitable methods for color correction to safely achieve your desired result.

Q: I have gray hair and it's yellowed from product and heat styling. I tried the purple shampoo several times and it is not helping. Would the clarifying shampoo possibly help?
A: Hi there! Thank you for reaching out about our L'Oreal Paris EverPure Clarify Shampoo for Build Up. We're truly sorry to hear that your gray hair has yellowed from product and heat styling, and that the purple shampoo hasn't provided the relief you were hoping for. We understand how frustrating that can be! Given that your yellowing is linked to product and heat styling build-up, our L'Oréal Paris EverPure Clarify Shampoo for Build Up could absolutely be a helpful step. Clarifying shampoos are specifically designed to gently but effectively remove residue, hard water minerals, and product build-up that can dull, weigh down, and even cause discoloration like yellowing in gray hair. By stripping away these accumulated layers, it can reveal your hair's true, brighter tone. We recommend giving it a try, and always follow up with a good conditioner to maintain moisture.

Q: Because this product has many different sodium ingredients, will it remove Keratin from my Keratin treated hair?
A: Hi MPCG. Thank you for reaching out to L'Oreal regarding the EverPure Clarify Shampoo. Since this product does contain sodium we would not recommend using this product. It may remove the keratin treatment in your hair. We suggest you reach out to your stylist who did your keratin to find out what type of shampoo you can use for build up.
