Q: Is the wand recyclable? It seems a huge waste of plastic if not. Is it easier to apply? I use a brush and a bowl anyway. They are pretty cheap and can be used over and over again.

Loved the device - I have dark brown to black hair color that has quite a lot of gray. I left the product on a little longer than recommended since I was covering grays but did not offer any coverage - did seem to tone them down a little but just does not work at all for my hair to cover grays.

Great concept!

My first time using it as you can see in the video didn’t seem to apply the product evenly. The dye was a bit watery than what I’m used to. It ran down onto my skin. The awesome thing is that this dye did not stain my skin after its removal. The color was close to the color I was using before. The texture of my hair improved. The color is nice. The device itself is durable and light. Cleaning it was so simple making it easy to maintain and store. Of course I made a few mistakes so I didn’t cover all my grays but that’s on me not the device. Now that I’ve used it once I’m positive that my next application will be better. Overall I gave this device 5 stars. It really did cover the roots. I recommend trying this device. Just be aware that it will take you a few tries to get it right.

Easy at home hair dye
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free for testing purposes. I was excited to try the L’Oréal Paris Colorsonic Hair Color Device. It exceeded my expectations. As someone who usually finds at-home hair coloring messy and not always easy, this device completely changed the experience. The handheld applicator is sleek, easy to use, and seemed to evenly dispense color with minimal mess or dripping. It definitely feels much more controlled and more precise compared to box dyes. Not to mention the gloves it came with fit way better than the gloves most box dyes come with that are usually way too big and cumbersome. The color application was surprisingly on the faster side and felt way more seamless compared to box dyes. Especially around the roots/ hairline. I loved that the device mixes the formula taking out any guesswork or prep box dyes usually involve. The formula left my hair feeling soft and conditioned rather than dry like how box dyes can. I felt like the color turned out even from root to end for the most part. Any uneven parts I touched up but wasn’t the devices fault but rather user error on my part. This product is a game changer for anyone who wants more of a salon quality look from home that is way less hassle compared to box dye. This device was easy to clean as well which is a plus. The device does not come with the dye so you do have to buy that separately. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cleaner, easier way to color their hair at home.

Poor design, hard to hold and doesn’t actually dye
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was extremely hard to use. The moment I held it upright to put on my head it’s spilt everywhere on my shirt. I don’t really see a point to this. I’d actually rather use my hands for at home roof touchups or all over dye. It did not cover any of my silver hairs in the front of my head. My mom also did try it as well in the color payoff does not compare at all to regular hair dyes I definitely do not recommend this product, especially the price point

A convenient at-home hair coloring device that mak
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the L’Oréal Colorsonic Hair Color Device along with two #3 hair color cartridges to test. Since my mom needed a root touch-up and this is the shade she already uses naturally, we decided to test it on her hair. The device itself is very intuitive and easy to use, although I do think the instructions can be a bit confusing at first. According to the cartridge, it should last 1 full application or up to 3 root touch-ups. During the first application, we ended up using the entire cartridge and the color didn’t deposit as well as expected (unfortunately I didn’t take photos that time). On the second application, we also used the full cartridge, but the color result was much better. In the photos, the roots may appear slightly lighter, but in person the color looks even and natural. ✅ Pros: • Very practical and easy to use • Makes the coloring process faster and less messy • You can apply color to the entire root area in about 10 minutes • Hair looks beautiful afterward, almost like it was done at a salon • Device is easy to clean ❌ Cons: • The cartridges are expensive • I personally don’t feel they last as long as advertised ✨ Final thoughts: Overall, the Colorsonic device is a great concept and definitely makes at-home hair coloring easier and more convenient. While I love how practical it is and how nice the hair looks after, I do wish the cartridges lasted longer for the price.

Heavy but easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The application was super easy to use! My daughter has so much fun helping me get each strand of hair. I needed the extra help cause my arm got tired. It is a bit heavy but still simple to use. I didn't include any pictures because my hair was already pretty dark to begin with so there wasn't a noticeable difference but it did cover up the few grey strands I have coming in!

Easy to use and full color root to tip.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received L'Oreal Paris Colorsonic Hair Color Device free from Influencer in exchange for my honest review. I recently got a chance to try out the L'Oreal Paris Colorsonic to dye my hair. It was simple to use and put together. I used the permanent black color cartridge, which you can use up to 3 times, and the colorsonic automatically mixes the hair color and parts the hair for you. Although the bristles can adapt to all hair types, you do need to be careful because it can be messy and drip easily and possibly oversaturate your hair if you have thinner hair like me. So a little practice might be needed to get the best results, but my hair ended up looking nice and was fully colored 100% from root to tip. If you color your hair or others often this may be an amazing tool for you to have handy and I recommend it. For the average person who is comfortable doing their hair at home it might be more than is needed, but could still be nice to have around if you have the extra cash.
