Grat for boule'
I have loved using this bread bowl and lid. Just today went to use it and pulled out the bowl and lid. Placed them on my counter and the lid broke. I cannot find a way to replace just the lid. I need some advice.

It's a beauty, for sure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An unnecessary but happy purchase! It's a beautiful bowl and it did a great job with the couple of loaves I've baked so far. I did find it wobbled (rocked?) a little even when locked in position, but I just put my hand on the side until the dough formed, and it was fine. I'll only note that it's much more blue/cool-toned in real life compared to the photos online, which are warmer. Because of this, it looks a little off-colour on my machine (Milkshake), so I won't display it as planned.

I was so looking forward to this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really wanted this to be good , it went on the mixer all good started off good using the dough hook but just never mixed properly jumped around and then was jammed on the mixer bottom took strength to get it off when I did I saw the jumping around had chipped a piece off , I love my mixer but this was just a waste of money , so disappointed.

Too delicate?
I got this for Christmas and have used it a half dozen times to bake bread. I followed KitchenAid instructions, heated it in the oven before putting dough into bake. Today, the lid broke into 4 pieces as I was rinsing it. I waited over 3 hours to rinse it so it was definitely cooled. One shard cut my thumb.

Got this as a wedding gift and the second time it was used to make bread the lid cracked from after removing it from the oven.

What a great purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the artisan bread bowl and lid a couple of months ago now and I’ve played and experimented with loaf bread, savoury ‘pull apart’ bread, sweet AND savoury scrolls. I’m amazed at how this bowl simplifies the mixing/proving/baking process. I was a bread making newbie and I now feel like a pro! I do wish KitchenAid would get their recipe section of the site up and running. It continues to be a frustration.

Achieves what it says every time.

With the bread bowl, every time I end up with perfect bread with the added bonus of less washing! My only critique is it gets VERY hot and burns through oven mitts when trying to get it out of the oven.

Versatile and Beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a great addition to my KitchenAid accessories. I wouldn't have thought something so simple would be so effective - and have enjoyed beautiful breads and sweets, reliably, every time. The favorite has been Cinnamon Scrolls.. but my top handy tip, is that you can revitalise stale crusty bread in the Artisan bread bowl and baking lid - simply dampen your dry bread quickly under a tap, pop in the baker and back into the oven for about 10 minutes (or when water has evaporated and bread is crispy and revitalised). No more wasted bread - and it will be just like 'oven fresh' again.
