  • A: Thanks for your question. Our JBL Tune Flex 2 has a "Find My Buds" feature, wherein you can locate missing earbuds by getting a notification on the location and time of last use. You can also activate "ring" to receive a ring notification on your device when the earbuds are in range through the JBL headphone app. However, if you’re referring to tracking the earbuds and charging case through GPS or location tracking, our Tune Flex 2 does not have that feature.

  • A: Thanks for your question. No, you don’t have to use eartips for our JBL Tune Flex 2 TWS. They include open-style tips for situational awareness, but for the best audio (especially bass and volume) and effective noise cancellation, use the correct-size sealing tips, as the sound is tuned differently for each mode. The open tips don’t seal the ear canal well, so deep bass and ANC require a proper seal.

Our JBL Tune Flex 2 are designed for secure in-ear fit and everyday comfort, but they may not be ideal for sleeping, especially if you sleep on your side, as they can press against your ears. Back sleepers might find them more comfortable, but they aren’t specifically made for overnight use.

    Love em but missing an ear tip

    As someone who has never owned true wireless earbuds, these are outstanding! I bought these to test them on how well they perform during a jump rope session to see if they'd fall out. The JBL Vibe Buds 2 did fall out. However, upon opening the package, I noticed one of the sealing earbud tips was missing. I checked and opened all the materials from the packaging, but I had no luck. I contacted the JBL warranty team, but they recommended reaching out to Target for a return. I don't want a return because many stores have only just 1 in stock. :/

    Mid.

    Only bought because they were half off. Sound quality isn’t that great on top of the “noise cancellation” feature being hardly functional. Not only that but they are PAINFULLY uncomfortable. I tried multiple sizes of the tips and they genuinely hurt to have in. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend

    Great Improvements

    I bought this a month ago and I think there are major improvements to the old JBL Tune Flex design. The charging issue seems to be solved, and the audio is playing at the same level in both buds. The other day, the action buttons on the headphones were registering a tap, but I was not tapping them. Interestingly enough, whenever I was in the sun, the headphones were registering a tap (thereby pausing and unpausing the content I was listening to). Same issue on both buds, not just 1.

    Amazing color and sound quality is crazy good!

    My wife bought me these for Christmas, I can't use them yet. However, JBL's brand is fantastic with the quality of their speakers and earbuds! So I already know these will be amazing and can't wait to start using them!

    Thank you for your feedback. For your JBL Tune Flex 2 give you the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the eartip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal. Gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. Then, continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal to achieve the best seal and secure fit. We also recommend trying other provided eartip sizes. If the volume still seems to be low, we recommend checking the balance control on your source device in the Accessibility settings. And on the music app that you use, commonly found in the playback or EQ settings. Also, please check the balance control on the JBL Headphones App. If you need more help, please contact us.

    Awful

    These headphones CONSTANTLY fall out of your ears and always at the worst time. When you touch the headphone to push it back in your ears, the touch capabilities are triggered. You can turn these settings off, but every single time your headphones die or randomly disconnect, you have to re download the app, go through the pairing process, and then turn those settings off again. I do not leave reviews often. This is how you know I genuinely hate these headphones.

    Unfortunately the charging case doesnt work

    I'm impressed!

    I was looking for wireless earbuds that were a little more affordable than AirPods and bought these when they were on sale. I was a little nervous reading some of the reviews, but I’m actually very happy with my purchase so far! These were easy to pair with my phone, the sound quality is great, and I enjoy the noise-canceling feature. The battery life has also been impressive!

    Not Great

    I bought these to replace my black Tune Flex original ear buds I lost. I bought the Tune Flex 2 because of the additional color options and they were on sale. So far, I am unimpressed by the sound quality. The "noise canceling" and "ambient aware" features are not as good as the Tune Flex 1.

    Excellent value and quality

    Very impressed with these ear buds. I don't like the standard round seal bud style. 1. I want to hear things around me, and often wear them at work where I regularly need to have conversations with people, so I don't want a total seal to block everything out around me 2. They ALWAYS fall out of my ears. No matter what size I use its a constant issue for me, I just have oddly shaped/sized ear holes or something. Before this I was using Air Pods, which have a similar style, and these buds were basically the only ones I could find with this style. They're cheaper, even at full price, provide much stronger base, and last much longer without needing to be charged in the case. Also I'm just sick of Apple and would rather not be handing them more money right now. Overall, these are fantastic. JBL seriously knows what they're doing.

    Pieces of junk

    I got these as a gift a month ago and not even 2 days into having them, the left one doesn’t even turn on half the time. The battery life on them is pitiful and the contact points are very picky. The noise canceling is almost louder than the base ambient aware mode. I had the tune flex 1’s and they served me for a year and a half. I don’t think I will ever get anything JBL ever again!
