A second wall charger is always a good idea
I needed an extra wall charger for my android phone and I did not want to spend $15 to $20 for one at the phone store. This has worked just fine even now after months of usage. Charges very slowky, if it charges at all.
From the first time I tried to use this charging block I've had trouble getting it to work. It either wouldn't charge my phone at all, or very slowly. Almost as if it doesn't received any consistent supply of power or something as my phone would switch between charging and not charging the whole time. For the price that I paid for the box alone, I expected it to work a lot better than what it does. It will eventually fully charge it, but it takes an hour or two. It also gets a little bit hotter than what I've noticed others to get. It's hot to the touch.
