Not very happy with this purchase. I am used to using a shampoo that makes my hair feel squeeky clean with a nice scent. This is somewhat medicinal smelling and I get it based on it being a dandruff shampoo. Problem is my head is still itchy after using it for 3 weeks.

Tried two shampoos already. Not doing the job.
Ive tried bare pure hydration and made my hair oily at some point and hair fell out. Tried the Itchy Scalp relief bare shampoo and not only did more hair fall out, but it made it really itchy. Hopefully the pure clean doesnt do anything bad or im not buying this product again

Makes my scalp Itchy
It makes my scalp itchy. Wanted to try something new. Head and shoulders is the only shampoo I use. The shampoo normally doesn’t irritate my scalp the way this one does. I love the smell and design of the bottle but it’s not effective as the original head and shoulders shampoo.

Gross, I do NOT recommend!
I did not like how this made my hair feel. There was something wrong as soon as I started to lather. It made my hair feel extremely gross and dry at the same time while lathering. I do not know what ingredients are causing this, but absolutely do not recommend. It did not feel like a dandruff shampoo and left a film of grossness even after rinsing a while.

my favorite out of all the h&s bare shampoos
out of all the head and shoulders bare shampoos, this one smells the best. It smells like candy canes but without being cloyingly sweet. The peppermint oil feels super relaxing on my scalp. It gently cleanses and makes my hair feel great. I can use it daily without any problems. Be sure to shake the bottle before using. the people complaining about this shampoo leaving a weird film/residue on their hair likely forgot to do so. I never write reviews but i just really like this shampoo and I would hate it if it got discontinued.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scent: The scent of this shampoo is straight up mint candy! The scent is strong but the mint does not feel strong on the scalp, quickly gone. Packaging: The bottle is ECO but very flimsy. The bottle has four lines on the back to indicate the product is a shampoo for the visually impaired. Texture: The texture is a little thick but it feels like candy thick. Effectiveness: You need to double shampoo wash. Like I said, it has a strong candy mint scent but is not strong on the scalp. I did not enjoyed this shampoo because after my hair was dry, I had intense dry scalp. This happened after every hair wash. Head and shoulder usually gives me dry scalp and I tend to avoid it. Since this product was aimed at for dandruff I decided to give it a go. I won’t purchase this product in the near future and I don’t recommend it. P.S: please excuse my weird video.

Good shampoo for the price!

The shampoo left my hair feeling soft but a little dry. I think it’s a good value for your money & it has cleaner ingredients than other dandruff shampoos.

Usually in the cold weather my scalp dries out and I have flakes in my hair. When trying this product, I’ve seen a large reduction in flakes. The scent is nice and natural. I don’t think this one is as effective as the original, but it still works really well. I noticed that it just took longer to see the results this time. However, I HATE the mint smell. I don’t think mint scent belongs in a shampoo. I struggle because I really want to continue buying this as it’s priced well and works, but the scent…I don’t know if I can continue using it.
