Endless possibilities

I received my Cricut Joy2 a week ago. I absolutely love the color, portability and it does so much. My printer is upstairs, so I am able to create projects, in my kitchen, without having to make multiple trips upstairs. The cuts are clean and gorgeous. I had no problems connecting to our network and it runs perfectly with my laptop.

Learning curve

I am using my machine mostly for card creations at this point. However, I find the project instructions a bit frustrating as I am using an iPad instead of a computer. It was a giant learning curve. Otherwise I am enjoying using the machine.

Love my Joy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the new Cricut Joy 2 and it’s SO fun for quick, everyday projects. It’s tiny, easy to grab, and perfect when I don’t feel like pulling out a bigger machine. I love how simple it is—great for labels, cards, decals, and now even stickers with Print Then Cut. It cuts super clean and is just one of those machines you end up using all the time.

You’ll want to check out this tiny powerhouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I didn’t think I’d be too excited about this little machine, but I was wrong. This little thing is a beast! The cuts are amazing in precision and depth. I love that it only weighs a couple pounds, so easy to transport. I can literally fit the Joy 2, mats, and supplies in a tote bag, making it the perfect machine for mobility. The calibration and print then cut feature worked flawlessly as well. Well done Cricut!

Tiny but Mighty: My new Cricut Crush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Joy 2 truly earns the “tiny but mighty” title. It adds features the original Joy didn’t have — like Print Then Cut and scoring — which opens up so many more real project possibilities. I’ve been especially loving it for water bottle stickers and mini boxes (the mini boxes are dangerously fun). The writing is crisp and clean, and the scoring capability makes small dimensional projects feel polished instead of improvised. I wouldn’t be giving a true review if I didn’t highlight a noticeable difference compared to my larger footprint machines — and that’s primarily speed. This beauty is a bit slower. And while speed definitely matters to me (hello, procrastination), I also don’t have time to redo projects because something cut too aggressively or ruined material. The reduced speed clearly supports better precision and cleaner results, which means I can trust the final outcome — even if it takes a little longer to get there. Think of it like the tortoise and the hare story: steady and reliable wins! The updated design is a big improvement. It’s easier to pick up, move around, and the universal plug makes it feel truly portable. As someone who crafts often (and enthusiastically), this is absolutely going to become my go-to travel companion. For beginners, it’s a powerhouse — approachable enough to start with confidence, yet capable enough to grow with you. For more seasoned crafters, it’s the perfect grab-and-go machine when you don’t want to pull out the big equipment. This machine isn’t just cute. It’s capable — and that’s what earns it a permanent spot in my creative lineup.

Mini, but Mighty..Joy 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cricut Joy 2 is such a fun upgrade to an already great little machine! The redesigned model is 30% smaller, making it perfect for small projects and tight crafting spaces. It’s also incredibly lightweight, which makes it easy to take on the go for crops, classes, or crafting with friends. One of the biggest upgrades is that it now supports Print Then Cut — a game changer for a compact machine like this. And as an added bonus, it can now score as well, opening up even more possibilities for cards, tags, and dimensional projects. It may be mini, but it’s definitely mighty. Cricut is also offering fantastic bundle options at a very affordable price, so you can start creating right out of the box. No more realizing you still need a mat or basic tools after you get home. Depending on the bundle you choose, you’ll have almost everything you need to complete multiple projects. This is the perfect machine for beginners, crafters with limited space, or anyone looking for a thoughtful and practical gift.

The Joy 2 Machine is small but powerful

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I absolutely loved the portability of the original Joy, but found the fact that there were a few of my favourite features missing was limiting my creativity. I am thrilled that the Joy 2 has the score feature and love the precision of the scoring since the tool is in the same clamp as the blade. I also find that the new Print then Cut feature is absolutely brilliant. You can still print on a sheet of 8.5" by 11" material and then cut everything by just following the prompts. I also love the fact that this bundle has so many tools and materials. As soon as you open the box, you are ready to begin.

Awesome Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loving the PTC feature on the Joy 2. The on-screen prompts were fantastic and it walked me through every single step and showed exactly what was coming next - there was zero guesswork. I especially loved how it clearly labeled each side (1 and 2) and gave an exact line to cut the sheet.

Joy 2 SMALL, BUT MIGHTY Machine w/ Print then Cut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Joy 2 is approximately 30% smaller than previous machines, making it compact, easy to store, and perfect for smaller craft spaces. It weighs just a little over two pounds, so it’s incredibly portable and easy to move wherever you want to create. It works with over 75 materials, giving you a wide range of creative options. One of the biggest upgrades is that it now has the ability to do Print Then Cut projects, which opens up even more possibilities. It also features a NEW scoring tool, and it works really well for adding clean, professional folds to cards and other paper projects. I’ve been amazed by all the different projects I’ve been able to create with this SMALL, BUT MIGHTY machine. The bundles available for the Joy 2 are fantastic, too. You can start creating as soon as it arrives — no extra trips to the store because you don’t have the right materials, tools, or accessories on hand.

A little machine with a big punch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened this box, my very first thought was, “Well, this is just the cutest!” Right on the heels of that was needing to take it out for a few test spins. I’ve tried regular cutting, used the card mat, and even tested out the new Print Then Cut feature. Print Then Cut on this little machine is a game changer! I think it’s going to be an incredibly attractive feature for all users. The cutting precision is amazing. In fact, while cutting a sheet of stickers, I accidentally selected the wrong setting and the “die” cuts didn’t cut cleanly. Since I had nothing to lose, I decided to try again. I fed the sheet back in and re-ran the cut — I was shocked! It tracked back exactly over the original cut lines. I know that kind of perfection isn’t guaranteed, but I also think it has a much better chance of happening on this machine than with the previous Joy. The mat guides are very snug, and that’s a really good thing! Another huge plus? I was able to use all of my previous Joy and Joy Xtra tools and pens with this machine. That means I already have a full collection of tools ready to play with — no waiting required! I’ve always loved taking my Joy on vacation with me, and now I’m thinking this new Joy 2 will be even more travel-friendly since it’s a little smaller than the original. And I almost forgot to mention scoring! This new feature for the Joy line opens the door to even more creative project possibilities. This little machine is cute, capable, and full of potential. I can’t wait to keep creating with it!

Mini but Mighty - and gorgeous to boot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Cricut Joy 2 and didn't really expect to love it the way I do! Right out of the box it is beautiful and very professional looking. It would look great on any desk, and is even smaller than the original Joy. This machine is Print Then Cut capable and with it's small size I was so intrigued on how this would work and so the first project I made was some fun print then cut stickers using the printable vinyl that came with the Essentials kit. I absolutely love that it uses the full size of 8.5x11 material for the print but then you simply cut it down the middle and load it on 2 mats. I calibrated the machine which was lightning fast compared to how the other machines calibrate. The process has been super refined and was very fast. The cuts were spot on! I love that this can be done with such a small machine! One of the first things I noticed is that when you load your project, you no longer have to press go on the computer screen. It has a new Load and Go feature and once the machine takes the mat and measures it, it goes right to cutting or scanning. What a time saver! Another great feature of the Joy 2 is that it can score!! It comes with a scoring blade and the cutting blade! I was very excited to test this feature out and it scores beautifully! No more changing score lines to foil! I have run this little guy through every type of project I could think of and it passed with flying colors. It writes, cuts, scores, foils, and can do Print Then Cut! It cuts cardstock, vinyl, faux leather and more! The creative possibilities are just amazing! All the existing Joy tools are compatible with this machine from the blade, the foil tool, and the pens! There is a whole lot of power packed into this mini but mighty machine. It even fits in the old Joy carrying bag and is so easy to take from place to place! If you are a beginner looking for your first machine or if you are a pro who has every machine from the Venture to the Joy Xtra, you will not want to miss out on owning this machine! Mine came with the essentials kit and had me ready to start creating right out of the box. The supplies in this kit blew me away from the materials to the tools. I was set and ready to go instantly! I could not possibly recommend this machine any more! It is a definite must have and a great starter machine for sure!

Great features

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I just got the new Joy2 and I am so excited. This is such a great little cutting machine. I love the new look and it now can do print then cut which I love to use. The new scoring tool is a great addition too. I love how the new blades are made as one piece so no more fiddling with replacing blades. I am so pleased with the Joy2 the size is great for travelling. It cut great and easy to use.

Print then Cut Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did have scoring issues but that was resolved. Yesterday, I had print then cut issues after adding an offset to an image and flattening. I printed these images on my printer and then cut them cardstock. As you can see, the images are not centered.

Wonderful New Machine

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This machine, the Joy 2, is a wonderful upgrade from the original Joy. The small size makes it easy to tuck away or take with you to craft anytime. This machine comes with a scoring tool, and it is compatible with print and cut. My favourite upgrade is the load and go, when loading the material, it immediately starts cutting without having to press a button. I received the Essentials Bundle, lots of tools and materials to use the Joy 2 straight out of the box!

Small with a large impact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the Joy 2 was, "Oh, how cute!" With its small foot print, it indeed is, and especially as it comes in a selection of pretty colors. But not only is it cute, it also offers so much that you can do with it. With the Joy 2, not only can use cut, draw, and foil, as you could with the Joy, but now you can also score and print-then-cut. I am so impressed with what this machine is capable of performing! Not to mention that the cuts and score lines are precise, the drawings are flawless, the foiling is crisp, and the print-then-cut is just so fun to use. I also love how compact it is, making it easy to find a spot to store it, and making it easy to carry around for those of us who don't have a dedicated craft space. This cute machine has sure made a big impact on me!
