This is a great little machine. I am new to this so I have not found good software beyond the Candle software. I look forward to doing lots of projects as we move into fall.

Works on Mac. Excellent for beginners to advanced users.
I bought this CNC router because of its price, size and simplicity. But I found that it has great potential. I don't know why MP says it runs on Windows only, losing potential with Mac users. Maybe because "Candle" only runs on Windows. I have a Mac, and I use CNCjs with no issues. I can run the same tests from the manual with no hassle. No need for any drivers. You need to know how to home the bit to start a job. But that's GRBL and CNC basics. But things get interesting here: it uses a MakerBase DLC32 v2.1. The latest component for CNC and Laser. So you can change the spindle for a laser. Don't if you don't know. The DLC32 v2.1 comes with WiFi and also supports an external screen. So you can hack your router to do more than what is on the specs. You can use other bits once you get more experience. But for starters, stay with the basics. Very sturdy, well-packed and full of possibilities. If you like hacking tools, this CNC is perfect because it can exceed specs. Yes, you can change the board for something else, but for now, buy it, enjoy it and ... you're welcome.

Seems Okay...
I have not got around to using just yet. It seems like a very inexpensive way to get into CNC and learn how to manage different parts and subtractive maneuvering of the motors w/ an easy-to-put-together build. The part is put together and ready. I just need to fire it up! Seth
