A: I put extra totes on top, especially when I have them in storage,my garage,or even my closets!> My cats also love to sleep on the lids,but I recommend them for a lot of reasons!> Once they had them for $7.00 each,I was moving,it made my moving so easy and very sturdy,a lot of space inside and I bought 12 totes with wheels and handle and put all of my 2 bedroom, kitchen,closets, bathroom and included the storage!> I literally moved out and the moving was easy !> I recommend them while there at this price!> I still have them,bought some more,bigger home but worth it!

A: Hi JJ! The 45 Gal. Latching Storge Tote is made of Polypropylene plastic, and was designed for general household use. Sterilite only uses high quality FDA food safe grade plastics that are non-toxic. These plastics do not contain PVC's, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bishphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals. Nor do we use them in the manufacturing process of our items.
