We recommend that any food that is not prepackaged should be placed in a specific food storage container or bag.

It looks to me that it may be too small to hold a large dog food bag, as these are usually larger than 12-14” in most directions.

A: I took the measurements off the tote itself and it is 16.85" wide, 1 2 " deep and 14.24" high. If it is over stuffed, the lid will accommodate more.

I usually go for the bigger sizes, but these are actually perfect for smaller things like gift wrap, craft supplies, and my light workout gear. They’re also way better than regular cardboard boxes for moving if you want to keep your things safe and secure. Hefty is definitely my go-to brand—they’re just so sturdy and hold up really well.

Small but mighty storage solution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Hefty storage bins are incredibly well built and durable. I love the high sided design and the tight fitting lids. These fit absolutely perfectly in our closet and were ideal for storing small to medium items (craft supplies in my case). These also stack really well and securely (without danger of sliding around or tipping). This set was an incredible value and I would absolutely seek these out for my storage needs again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These storage bins are small but mighty! These are made so well and are sturdy enough to hold a lot without the fear they might buckle or break. They stack perfectly and hold a ton of things. I am using them to store all of my extra dolly parton items that I collect and have no space to put out for display. The kids fit perfectly and the locking handles make these even better. They fit great on my storage shelf in the garage and all around are a great small space storage item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hefty is always a very dependable brand. Their new storage boxes are no different. I added a pair of shoes inside and my cat walked by, so you can see the size for scale. The box itself feels very sturdy, you can even say hefty is a household name by this point and synonymous with sturdy. It uses a pair of latches at the top to secure the lid. It has a very satisfying click when it locks and overall I can see this being a good size for a multitude of products around the house.

My go-to container
These containers are great for all your storage needs. The additional space in the lid is a plus when storing clothing and bedding. HOWEVER, if you do not fill up to the lid DO NOT stack. The kids will crack from the weight of other containers. I like that they are a decent size and show contents. As seniors we can’t life larger bins. These work perfectly for us. I have noticed that the newer containers are thinner than from years goneby.

Great for my classroom
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Hefty Hi-Rise plastic storage bins are perfect for me. I am a teacher, and every June I need to pack my room up so that it can be cleaned. These are going to be extremely helpful because they are see through and it is easy to see what is in each bin. The name of these bins indicate that they are stackable, however, I do not see that indicated anywhere on the label of the containers. When you stack one on top of the other, they slide around on the lid, so I wouldn’t really consider them stackable. I do like the “extra room” feature as well as the latching top.

Study bins for storage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These storage bins are so sturdy! I am able to pack these full of items and yet the bins feel strong and secure. This is not like those cheap bins you get, these are the real deal. I love how the lids and bins stack if not in use, but they also stack when full too. This size is perfect as I’m able to store cleaning supplies, items for my house, important documents, etc. The bins are not heavy on their own, but again feel very sturdy. No assembly required, just snap the lid in place. The lid allows for easy-to-use handles on the bins. I’ve only ever bought cheap brands for bins and the difference with Hefty is incredible! Definitely worth getting this brand over any other. Highly recommend!

Unknown treasure. Great for vinyl (33rpm) record storage. Keeps out the dust and protects against water damage. Added bonus is that after storing 80 records in each, they can be stacked up to 3 bins high. Records are stored upright to avoid warping. Bad news, not all Targets carry these in stock.

Best storage for my staff
Great storage containers. Our family keeps them outside on our terrace all the time. Very durable. The top cover gives a decent insulation seal. Rain and snow: staff inside stayed dry. It survived 3 winters. But during the 4th winter, one of them has cracked on the side.
