VTech My First Motorized Train Set

It’s a cute train and my 3 year old loves it! The batteries did die really fast. It also says “hurry up!” in a rude tone which I feel like that shouldn’t be said around little children who are just going to repeat it.

My son loves this train but the train keeps breaking - we returned and got another because we thought maybe there was a glitch but the second one also stopped working very quickly

Such a cute train for toddlers but the battery runs low fast

Fun for the baby but a deep pocket for parents. Brand new batteries dont even last a whole 1 hour. It loos like the batteries chosen to move it dont have enough potency for the load. Dont buy it. It's a battery drainer. Bad design.

This was a Christmas gift to my 3 year old and the train stopped working after 2 months. It's just a useless track now.

We got this train for my 2 year old for Christmas and he has played with it every single day since! It’s pretty easy to put together, it comes with a guide showing several different layouts of the track so you can switch it up. The battery life is actually pretty good, we will leave it running for long periods of time and have changed the batteries maybe 2 times since getting it. It has cute sayings and different modes to play with. Overall super happy with the purchase!

My 2 year old just opened this for his birthday and half the stuff is missing from it. No train and the stickers have been crumbled like someone returned it and kept half the stuff.

My Son Loves This Train Set

My daughter is 14 months and loves it! She plays and interacts with lots of the pieces and there is still more for her to learn to play with as she goes! Super easy to put together and take apart - I have no idea how people are saying it’s difficult? Simple, great details, endless fun and full of surprises for children and adults! I wish I had room to leave it out all the time.. absolutely worth the $40! If you’re on the fence at all, this is your sign BUY IT!!! You will not be disappointed :) the video/photo I’m posting are from her first time using it. She has discovered the play opportunities of the Tran station part since then and has found more to do with it than just watch it (still very enjoyable) and play Godzilla 😂. Just trust me on this one. No regrets!! And I think $40 is a very reasonable price for this much interaction! Keep in mind, my daughter and I are both very laid back people - so if your child has an over abundance of energy they may feel differently than we do! But we love it!!

I don't write reviews often but wanted other parents/grandparents to know that this is such a great toy for toddlers. Bought it for our 3 year old grandson and he enjoys it so much. It so well made, perfect size and has different options to keep them entertained for hours. Also easy to assemble and has beautiful colors. The best toy we have bought for him. Highly recommended.

It comes with 16 feet of track to build along with a station, a farm, a water tower, a bridge, a railroad crossing, a tunnel and of course the train! This is such a cool toy as the train goes by itself, which amazes my boys as well as the awesome rainbow colors! I as the mom enjoy how easy this was to assemble! Such a fun toy train set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy I was able to get this because not only is it educational but my son loves playing with this train set! I love how it’s interactive and makes music or fun train sounds. This helps develops a child imagination. I think the toy is very light and easy to store. Not only that, I love that it has some lights to it — the train specifically. As for the battery, I believe I had to put regular batteries which I wish I can be rechargeable but besides that, it’s a really great give to give anyone! Especially kids 1+ who loves trains!

It takes a bit to put it together (it’s actually not that intuitive, we had to look at the picture to set it up correctly - my picture is my kids that tried to do it again and they couldn’t fit some pieces), but when it’s all set up it’s super fun! The train pulls 2 wagons and goes around, up and down the bridge, makes sounds and says things like “train starts with T”. It has some “stations” such as the water stop, a tunnel, the main station, all add so much fun! It was originally for my 1.5 years old, but my 3.5 yo is having fun with it too! Note: we had issues with the train itself that stops functioning after a few hours. I reached out to Vtech that made it right right away - thus my 5 stars review anyway! It’s a super fun toy - it does take a lot of space but we knew that getting it. I’ll definitely recommend it!
