A: It’s like making the teacup on the teacup ride spin. You do the work in order to spin. Builds motor skills.

Save Your Money. Go Vintage Instead.
We purchased this for a grandchild because our children loved these when they were small and spent so much time spinning until they got too big for them. We were shocked to see how tiny they make the Sit and Spin now. In the past these were made to sit crossed leg on and while a small toddler might be able to do that now any child larger would not be able to. A child spinning with legs out won't spin as well and it can be dangerous. Our daughter, the child's mother, also noticed how much one of her favorite toys from the past had changed and not for the better. So, we returned this one and turned to the open marketplace to see if we could find an old vintage one in good condition to purchase. We found one from the time our daughter was young and purchased it. The older SitnSpin is a lot larger and so much sturdier despite its age. The difference in the quality from the older one to the new ones amazed us as the newer ones are cheaply made and half the size. Not only could our youngest grandchild use it cross-legged but so could her older cousins. We are sure this one will last a long time and not break. It has been three years now and our grandchild still plays on this and fits despite being a lot taller. It's one of her favorite toys just like one was for her mommy, aunt, and uncle. Our advice to any looking to purchase this toy is to look around for an older one from the 80s and 90s as those are much larger over all, much sturdier in design, and spin so much better than these new, tiny, cheap feeling new ones. We spent about 20 dollars more but feel it was money well spent. Would we recommend the current SitnSpin? No.

Good but hard to use
It was a little challenging to figure out how to pop it together however once it was together I was confident my 21-year-old granddaughter would have fun with it she sat on it for about 5 minutes and got up and left I noticed she was having trouble spinning it. So after a few times trying she gave up.
