A: If you want to know if it comes with the required probe covers, it does not. And I cannot find them to purchase anywhere. There are other brands but it is impossible to tell whether those will work.

A: NO! This thermometer does not have a flexible tip, so you cannot use it rectally in an infant. I am a nurse. I don't know how they are claiming this is safe for rectal use. It is not. You have to have a thermometer with a flexible tip.
