A: Hi Christy! The Toniebox uses a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, so any kid-friendly headphones with a 3.5mm plug will work. Tonies-brand headphones also use this same plug and are fully compatible.

A: Hi - this Toniebox Starter Set with Disney's The Little Mermaid comes with the Disney Little Mermaid Tonies. All other Tonies are compatible with this Toniebox and can be purchased separately.

Q: Do you have to purchase the rechargeable battery required for use?

A: Hi - the Toniebox 1 uses a built-in nickel-metal hydride battery, also known as a NiMH battery. It is charged using the included charging station. The Toniebox 1 can be operated while the battery is charging without an issue. NiMH batteries are considered very robust and offer comparatively good charging properties. This means that what is known as the 'memory effect' does not occur with this type of battery. Unlike the lithium-ion batteries used in smartphones and tablets, NiMH batteries will not catch on fire or burst.
