A: We’ve designed Toniebox 2 in a way that lets us roll out new features as soon as they’re available. While headphone listening is not available right now (Oct 14, 2025), it will be soon and then you will be able to use any wired headphones. Once Bluetooth connectivity for headphones is available you will be able to use any third party Bluetooth headphones. We’ll let you know as soon as that feature has rolled out.

Doesn't work!!
I ordered this in October during a sale. I gave it to my daughter for Christmas and everything worked until one day it just didn't! My daughter is 7, only keeps it in her bed or her room to listen to it. She brought it to me one day thinking it ran out of battery in the middle of her Tonie playing. We set it on the charger FOR HOURS and NOTHING!! I try a new cord and box, different outlets, although my phone and other things charge just fine when plugged in, this doesn't do anything! I've done EVERYTHING I could, even factory reset. NOTHING!!! We've had tonies for years and we were so excited to upgrade to the new box. I wish I never did! Apparently, when you look into how to fix it, this is a very common issue with the Tonie box 2! I wish I never got this. I'm out all of our money simply because I don't have original packaging and I'm almost to the end of my return window too. Also, Tonie is of zero help. Just SOL.

We have heard great things about the Toniebox, but we are missing the hype. Our first Toniebox 2 stopped working completely after 5 days. Wrote to Tonies US, but haven’t received any help. Just got a second Toniebox 2, and have had to factory reset it at least once a day for the last 3 days. Toddler loves the Ms Rachel tonies when the box actually works.

I bought this for my twins for Christmas. After 2 days stopped working. I did all the hacks to get it to work according to Tonie and nothing. I even reached out to Tonie and still haven’t heard back. I’m surprised they haven’t sent out a recall of its malfunction. Idk how to return it since I don’t have the box and I bought 4 additional tonies. Waste of money.

My 2 year old loves this thing so much but we’ve had it 2 days and it has already stopped working. It doesn’t turn on at all. Even when plugged in, and after trying all reset options. Questionable Quality and Customer Service
Like others, I agree that the Tonies are a fun and entertaining screen free activity for young children. My biggest complaint is with the quality of the box. I had always thought ours was glitchy and wondered why parents loved these boxes so much. Sure enough, within two months of purchase, our box experienced a “serious internal error” and their customer support was unable to troubleshoot. Fortunately I am getting a box replaced through warranty but my experience in dealing with their customer service has been neither timely nor pleasant. Hoping the replacement box won’t be a lemon like the first one…

Great educational and interactive toy for tots!
My daughter loves her new Toniebox! We wanted to give her something educational and exciting that she could interact with. As a 3 year old, she wants to explore and giving her something educational autonomy over what she’s listening to helps keep her off the tablet and away from the TV. She gets to listen to Ms Rachel (who she just LOVES) and her other tonies! My husband and I were really excited to give her such a cool gift this year for Christmas. It was the first one she opened, and very much loved! Sometimes after downloading a new Tonie, it does take some time for the Toniebox to be ready, but other than that, it’s easy to use, portable when charged, and helps keep my toddler active with her toys, coloring, and other learning activities!

Just Buy Toniebox 1
It’s quite comical how an object that worked well in it’s simplicity was somehow revamped and every aspect that was enjoyable was destroyed. There is no longer a charging station but a USB-C cord that doesn’t even have a wall charger, you have to buy that separately? You have to have wireless headphones so your previously wired headphones are no longer useful… more money spent. And the headphones must have a USB-C connection because there isn’t a headphone jack any more if you want to hard wire them. You also can’t charge the device while using wired headphones (which we normally utilize while traveling to keep from dropping them on the ground). Additionally, every former tonie character has to “download” before it can be used on the new device and twice we had to force restart during a download because shocker 5-year olds have a hard time waiting for things to download so now we will be downloading each character in our unlimited parental free time. The game component was supposed to be a newly celebrated feature, but we had to download the game 3 times before it actually allowed us to play the game, so not sure what is happening here.
