Does not have charge port
Ours seems to be working just fine. I didnt see anything in the instructions about if you hit the sides of the tonie you can go back or forwards on which song or story your on. Most frustrating is this does not come with the port to plug the charger in. I think enough money is spent to where this very necessary item to use the tonie, doesn't come with it, and then its so specific about watts and the type of charger, it makes you worried about causing fire if you dont have the right one. Just supply it!

Don't recommend!
DON’T RECOMMEND!! Something seems to be wrong with this product. Purchased one at Christmas and it suddenly stopped working after 2 days-wouldn’t charge or turn on. I replaced it and the replacement stopped working after 2 weeks or so. Very bummed.

Do not buy a tonie box 2, the majority of units are broken and the companies customer service is just a poorly functioning ai that provides no resolution. Our broken device has caused endless grief and frustration for our toddler. This compact is absolutely appalling.

Terrible quality
I bought this Toniebox 2 for my daughter for Christmas. However, it has malfunctioned twice within one month. The first time, it would not power on and now, the light is stuck on and no Tonies work. I am currently waiting for the battery to run out so the light turns off. My daughter loved the Toniebox, and the concept is great but after these repeated issues, I am very disappointed and frustrated. This appears to be a defective unit, and a replacement should be provided, or a full refund, as this version seems to have multiple reported issues. I would not recommend buying this product.

On the 2nd day it started screeching while the tonies were playing. The whole thing sounds like a scratched up DVD. Its horrible this thing isnt cheap for that to be constantly happening. I’ve had it for over a month now and it’s still doing it

We have now gone through two Ms. Commie tonieboxes and like the other recent reviews, they both stopped working within a week or two. The box will eventually stop charging - we tried different cords, outlets, and everything in between. So the problem is with the product. Our older daughter has an older/classic TonieBox that we will be switching to for our youngest.

Dissapointed in quality
If it's functioning it works great. We are on our 3rd one since the first one had to be returned since it randomly stopped working at around 2 months of using it. Then we got a replacement and that lasted 2 weeks when it stopped working. We are on our third but we are very doubtful it will last at this point. We are considering getting the Toniebox 1.

We upgraded our daughter’s box to the new one, this is our second and just like the first one it stopped working out of nowhere. So sad honestly, these products are not cheap and this seems to be an ongoing issue for what I see on other people’s reviews. Stick to the first one, works better!

My toddler absolutely loves her tonie box, it was the best Xmas gift for her. However I’m not raring it 5 stars because I’m currently waiting for the exchanged tonie box since we had to send ours back. The only difference is that our tonie box did turn on and off and charged perfectly it just had speaker issues. Imagine you’re relaxing with your toddler listening to some stories before bed just to hear a demonic voice coming through, the sound would become so low and distorted it was genuinely scary, after waiting a couple days all of her 4 tonies have sounded distorted. Hopefully this new one I get has a good speaker but now I hope it doesn’t have charging issues either.

Not worth the upgrade and extra $. The Toni box 1 is amazing and you are able to use it on the go and it has a charging station. Toni box 2 comes with the shortest usb-c cord..which can’t even be used with a small child that likes to have it in their lap. You must be on WiFi to use it…extremely frustrating. I regret buying this one but I only got it for the color.

While the Toniebox 2 was designed with new connectivity in mind, we hear you loud and clear that the shorter cord makes it difficult for little ones to play comfortably in their laps. Regarding the Wi-Fi, please keep in mind that once a Tonie has been placed on the box and the light turns solid green, the content is downloaded and can be played anywhere without a connection!
