They are easy to build and fun to play with! Definitely worth the money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family bsolutely loved putting these together. They are easy to use materials and great for teaching my kids how to build. They are easy to handle and fun to play with. They are all and all a great product, you will have lots of fun building them and playing with them. The performance of these are well worth the money. If you don't have one your definitely missing out on alot of fun.

Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit is such a fun, hands on way to learn about solar power. The builds are engaging, and it’s really rewarding to see the rebots move using just sunlight.

Fun & Challenging
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun and challenging for my 8 year old to put together. He loves puzzles and building things so this was a perfect set to keep him occupied. I did help him a bit because the directions are bit hard to understand. Minus one star because we couldn’t get Helio to charge under a lamp. Will try when it’s sunny outside!

A small but mighty rolling robot solar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weigh of the toy is light and easy to carry it has great power from the light to the solar. The features are amazing especially the performance of the solar panel being small it has great durability while rolling!

My son love this solar toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this SolarBots kit for my son and honestly we both like it a lot. It’s not just toy but also learning things, which is nice, my son was very excited to build it,even need some help from me but still fun together. The best part is run by sunlight, no battery needed. When we pit it under light, the robot start moving and my son was like ‘ Woww’ it can be build different models too so not boring. The plastic feel pretty good not cheap feeling, color is brights and cute so kids will like it. Only thing is some parts little small so younger kids need adult help. I think this is really fun and good Stem toy good for kids to learn and play at same time. I would recommend !!

Pretty cool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to try out and review this solar bot cosmic explorers by Thames and Kosmos and my little one really likes it. I had never seen a toy that works with a solar panel so its pretty cool. I just wish it had less pieces, it was a lot of small pieces to build it.

Don't waste your money or time on this one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I could give this no stars i would. This Toy states age 6+ with help. This is not for a 6 year old, the pieces are dangerously sharp. No tools come with it to cut the pieces out & they are incredibly difficult to pop out. I have multiple cuts on my hands & fingers due to the plastic being so sharp. I didn't want to give up, my son really wanted to see it work. I built all the pieces, I didn't want him to do it incase he cut his fingers too. After getting through 32 pages of instructions & assembling correctly, the robot does not work. We are not lacking sunshine in Florida, so a cloudy day was not the issue. Do not recommend this toy at all, it's cheap, dangerously sharp & does not work.

Bug Bot Buddy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves all things robots. I thought he would love this project and he did, at first. He's 7 yo and according to the box, he could conquer this with some help. However, I ended doing most of it with the help of my husband. We had to pull the main body apart a few times and leave a piece off or the gears wouldn't turn. With a little trial and error though we got it working! It's very cute and works completely off sunlight which is nice. It was smaller then we thought but it is called a bug bot. It's small, lightweight, and he keeps it in his cupholder on drives. For the price, I'd say it's worth it!

Doesn't charge at all and way too complicated for a 6 or 9 yr old
Seemed like a great idea for a 6 yr old but definitely way too complicated…maybe for 13 or older. We assembled everything and let it out in the sun to charge the solar panel but unfortunately it never charged. Tried again under a light bulb and still nothing. Huge disappointment after hours of putting it together. Don’t waste your money or time.

Good for tormenting thine enemies
We’ve bought Thames and Kosmos toys before and loved them. This is not one of those toys. This is made of seemingly hundreds (millions?) of tiny pieces that you need sharp tools (BYO) to remove and assemble. The box says ages 6+ (with adult supervision) but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend for anyone under 14 unless I wanted to torment their parents. So many pieces! So many sharp bits! Don’t do this to yourself. You deserve better. Try the Thames and Kosmos telescope though! That was a ton of fun and not at all punitive to our family. They do actually make good toys.
