This little kit was a big deal when I gave it to my 9 year old and he shared it with his friends who were over at our house. It was not only easy for him to learn, but was logical enough that he could teach other kids and collaborate to create larger and cooler robots. So the value is pretty high, though I'm not sure there will be a lot of replay possibilities.The kit is BIG and has a lot of pieces to choose from. All the pieces are heavy duty and the completed robots are tough - they don't fall apart, even after being played with for hours.This kit really made my kid think, and I'd definitely get another set to expand the kinds of robots he can make.

STEM fun!
Such a fun little toy very fun to put together anyone under the age of 8 is probably going to need some help, so it's a good bonding experience, although I think the light came broken though.

Great STEM Kit for Kids!
This is an awesome STEM kit for Robotics. I purchased this to use in both my homeschooling with my daughter and our Girl Scout Troop to help them earn their robotics badge. It comes with an instruction book and a tray inside the box to help organize pieces. I do wish it came with a lid for the tray because once the box was shut and we tried to store it the pieces all mixed back together. The pieces are very sturdy and was used them in multiple builds with no issues. This kit provides an opportunity for so much creativity!

Awesome for mini-engineers
My son at 5 years old is a bit too young for this, but with some adult guidance, this has been an amazing toy for him. It feels to be of good quality and the pieces fit together well. This is also not a one-and-done toy, as it can be disassembled and reassembled into a huge assortment of different things, which has kept him thoroughly engaged. I love that this kit challenges his creativity, imagination, and engineering skills!

Great STEM toy for creative and curious kids!
This is a great STEM toy for any kids out there with an engineering bent. I picked this up for my son to keep him busy this summer, and over a month after we got it, he keeps building new things with the kit regularly. There are plenty of pieces to the kit that you'll never run out of different ways to build things. So far, he's made a motorized tricycle, a walking lobster, a spider that crawls, a car, a funky robot, and all kinds of other cool stuff. It's an easy kit to use, and the pieces all seem very durable. Putting them together is easy, as is taking them apart again to create something new. It's a great set for any kid who likes to build and experiment.

This is a pretty intense stem construction set. I bought it for my 13 year old. It has an instruction book that has scientific concepts behind what is being done. Younger kids would probably need adult help for this set. All of the pieces are plastic. There is a plastic tray that will hold the pieces when the bags are open, but it's not set up to really keep everything separate. The set should allow him to put together some cool projects.

They kits are simple enough for young ones to put together but challenging in that it makes them think, follow instructions, etc. My LO is 6 1/2 so she needed a little help but loves playing with it and building things on her own too. I love that there are multiple things for her to build and she can just freely build and explore her own creativity. The quality is good. It functions well. My son is really into robots and STEM toys at the moment, he is convinced that he wants to build robots when he gets older, so we are trying to do everything we can to encourage him in this venture. So far, he has had a lot of different kits like this to work and play with and this one is definitely up there as one of the best sets. The pieces fit together really well and there are a lot of different things you can build with it. Once the different robots are constructed, they don't just fall apart as some of the cheaper kit do. He is 9 now and this definitely works for his age, it is challenging for him to build but it is not too hard to figure out (especially since ha has already built a few of similar style at this point. You really cant overestimate how useful this is for education, everything that continues to grow interest in a hobby like this is worth it! All the parts work as they should and the instructions are not hard to follow so I'd say this functinos very well and you really can't get a better deal for the money it costs. I would say this kit is good for 8-12 year olds, any younger than that and they may not be able to do it, and those older probably may find it to be a bit boring. I recommend this though if your child is into STEM things!
