A: It’s the screws to the left of the on and off and then slightly pull the head and body apart. There are batteries that go underneath and on top. 4 total.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gave this to my son for Christmas and he was so excited! Its easy to get started and for kids to operate and tons of fun. It seems to be built to last. Its eyes light up red and and it slithers in a S shape just like a real snake but it doesn't do so well on the carpet. Price is pretty good too.

Fun, realistic, and hilarious for my son!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review, and all opinions are my own. This TERRA RC Anaconda toy was such a fun surprise in our house! My son loved playing with it and was immediately drawn to how realistic it looks and moves. As you can see in the picture, it’s a decent size (I have no reference point for a real anaconda but this size if perfect for a toy). The remote control is easy for kids to use, and the snake slithers realistically across the floor, which made it engaging and interactive. It even scared our puppy when it started moving! Also its eyes light up to make it even creepier. It’s been great for silly pranks and screen-free play, And it feels well-made and durable enough to handle plenty of action. The instructions were easy and basically ready to play out of the box. We haven’t had to charge it yet. Overall, this is a cool toy for kids who love animals, reptiles, or anything a little slimy. It definitely gave us some entertainment and laughs (minus our poor puppy!)

It Works
Didn’t realize it takes FOUR AAA batteries in the snake. 2 on top of head and two on bottom of head. Hope that helps someone else who thinks their item is defective.

Fun for kids who are rough on toys
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 almost 6 year old loves this toy, she calls him Snakey. It’s very lightweight and easy to carry around, but the body pieces detach quite easily so it’s best to carry with two hands. I see no choking hazards, all of the corners are rounded and there are no small pieces. It is a little difficult to get the hang of the controller which is the reason this was rated 4 stars.

Doesn't work
Same issue as other reviewers. We got it working for 5 minutes then it stopped working. Tried changing batteries and it syncs but just the eyes light up and it barely moves. Not working properly - we're returning this after numerous tries to troubleshoot.

It’s fun toy!

It seems very durable even though it comes apart from time to time but it’s easy to put back together the kids love that they can play with it in the dark because of its eyes that light up red and bright. The snake moves fast and is easy to control with the remote.

Disappointing
Got this for Christmas for my son. He was super excited about it. I followed all the instructions, put brand new batteries in it, and it doesn’t work at all. Very disappointing.

Stay away
Horrible, horrible, horrible! To install batteries in the snake requires 2 screws to be removed. This took about an hour using excessive force and vice grips. Then it didn't work...at all. Stupid design and cheaply built. Waste of money and disappointed kids.
