This vacuum is great until it’s not. The hose is basically falling apart at the year mark and it’s impossible to find a replacement for this model. Skip it and go for a cheaper one that has easily accessible parts.

The WORST!
I bought this vacuum on Dec 30, 2024 for $192.05 and it literally blew up. I stupidly gave the company another chance and bought a second one in June—and guess what? That one blew up too. Their website “support” is a joke. If the vacuum overheats and you wait an hour and it starts but still sounds weird that good for them, they use that as an excuse to refuse any help. Absolutely ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and run the other way. I paid $100 more for the second vacuum even though it’s the exact same model. This company is a complete sham, and their products are trash.

This vacuum worked great but it did not last like others mentioned. It worked for 9 months until the motor burned out. Started smelling like smoke and then gave out. For the price it should last way longer than a few months.

Worked great in the beginning, barely had it a year and the motor went out. Tried taking it apart to see if something’s stuck. When you use it, it starts to get smokey.

Powerful suction is perfect for our floors
The Shark Lift-Away vacuum is super easy to assemble and use, and its powerful suction is perfect for our floors. It has the proper capacity to pick up all my postpartum hair, dust, and everything in between. The cord has enough reach I only need to plug it into two different spots for our main floor living space!

Am I getting old if a vacuum excites me??
The large canister and powerful suction makes daily chores less daunting. The self cleaning brush roll is also a big plus especially if you live in a home like ours that has a lot of long hair shedding or as my husband calls it “my glitter”. It’s not as heavy as I expected it to be either, it’s not super light but definitely manageable.

It is really easy to get under things and in corners with it, but I’ve had it 3 months and it’s already having issues with overheating and turning off.

Didnt even last a year.
I bought this because of the “self cleaning brush.” Yes the brush is self cleaning which is nice but they designed this to where you can no longer remove the brush without completely deconstructing the vacuum. So if a thread or and string does manage to get better the brush and the wheels you are out of luck and the brush stops working. I’m a new mom so taking out 8 torque screws to retrieve a small string is out of the question.

Breaks after a few months
This vacuum seems amazing at first. 5 months in I noticed that the tubes started cracking and breaking. I tried to glue them as best as possible to avoid getting a new vacuum and it snapped in multiple areas which no longer allowed it to work like a proper vacuum. Very much don't recommend

I love this shark navigator vacumm
I have tried so many vacuums and this shark navigator is by far the best! I love the Led lights and you can see every dust particles on the floor. I have paid so much more for other vacums but this is the best vacumming and worth every penny. Great if you have pets.

Was great until it wasnt
Worked great for literally 6 months. Then something got caught in the roller and now it won’t run. You can’t take it apart either to clean it out or replace the roller, I tried. Would not recommend at all.

Sucks Up Everything… Without Sucking to Use
Alright, this Shark Navigator Lift-Away ADV is the kind of vacuum that makes you want to clean just to use it. First off, the suction is no joke, it picks up crumbs, pet hair, and that mysterious “dust glitter” that somehow lives in corners. The PowerFins actually grab debris instead of just pushing it around, and the self-cleaning brushroll means I’m not spending my Saturday untangling hair from the roller. The “Lift-Away” feature is genius, you pop the canister off and suddenly you can reach stairs, under furniture, and all those awkward spots you usually pretend don’t exist. It’s not too heavy, and it swivels nicely so it doesn’t feel like you’re wrestling with a shopping cart. Honestly, it’s one of those rare appliances that makes the chore feel a little less like… a chore. If you want a vacuum that’s powerful, easy to handle, and doesn’t gag on pet hair, this one’s a win.

Burnt motor after a few months.
Worked very well at first but the motor burnt out in only 4 months of use. We have dogs and I lightly vacuum every couple days but it shouldn’t have broke this early on. Very disappointing considering I paid full price and not on sale. And just missed the return window by a month.
