Scotch-Brite Odor Resist Non-Scratch Sponges

I have been using these for years and just want you to bring back the Blue Style as they were better ! Can I still buy them? Where can I get them? Michael

Use these sponges all of time. Great for cast iron when you feel the need to wash yours as I do. I even trust it with my late 1800's cast iron skillets, not that I wash them every time after using.

Love these but please= bring back the blue. Purple sponges? no:-)

Horrible chemical smell, instant headache. Used blue ones for years. Will not buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spoonge cites itself as being heavy duty and odor resistant. Unfortunately after daily use for several weeks it begins to start to smell. I washed the spoonge with dishsoap to clean it, but the smell remains. I'm also not a fan that it cannot be used with stainless steel. That means no pots or pans & no sinks. Beware of this spoonge when looking for an all purpose spoonge!

Bought these because they claimed to be ordor free. The order is quite nasty with the first use. Will never buy again 😒 due to that nasty smell that stays on my hands after use. Disappointed 😞

These are my favorite sponges, mainly because no cheese gets stuck on the sponge, it just rinses off after! I hate picking them off the sponge after cheesy dishes. The only thing I dislike about these sponges is that they seem to wear and smell quick, despite drying on a rack. You may have to replace them every 1-2 weeks instead of each month, which adds up in cost since these are pricey sponges to begin with compared to others. Expect to spend about seven dollars every month if you plan to use these regularly. Hope this is helpful!

I purchased this product 9 days ago and it has been stinking for the last three days. I use it only for dish washing. A true disappointment based on the “odor free” package claim! I would never recommend this product.

I like that the the sponge was able to resist odors which allowed me to use it for a longer time than a typical sponge. I liked the texture on the back which made scrubbing burned on grime easy. Another great thing is the at the sponge is durable, and stayed together well after many uses.

I’ve used them for washing dishes. They hold up well, no smells emanating to date. I do find, however, that because they don’t have the mesh/scrubber top, they don’t make suds well. Fine for counters, I’ve grabbed other sponges instead for washing dishes by hand.

I am always concerned about damaging my pans with spoons and sponges because you can so easily scratch the pans when not using specific materials but having the chance to try these non-scratch pads has given me hope for all my more expensive pans. I also worry about sponges holding and breeding germs. In this package you get 3 heavy duty sponges. They are 4.4in x 2.6in x 0.6in. When you open the package one side has a rough feel and the other very soft and spongy. They show that you can use them on dishes, glassware and nonstick pans but I have also used it on my counters, stove and table cloth with no issues. It does contain an agent to keep it odor free but just like most sponges it does not keep it from food borne or disease causing bacteria so be sure to wash it thoughrouhly and allow to dry completely. Also do not use it on stainless steel appliances and be sure prior to using it on anything you have concerns of scratching to try it in a small space that can't be seen. Be sure to always feel for any particles that may have been picked up during a prior use that could cause scratches. I used mine with dawn dish detergent and hot water while scrubbing pots, stove and tablecloth. It worked amazing on all 3 and caused no damage. My pasta pot always is the toughest to scrub free but with this sponge I used the rough side of the sponge to get off the thickest stuck sauce and then the soft side to remove the rest and my pot looks better than ever. After doing my dishes I washed off the sponge let it air dry and it looks just as good as when I opened them to start with. I think this sponge will last me quite a long time and it has not left an odor in our kitchen. I would recommend this to friends and family because it worked so well.

Good sponge but don’t feel like it is any more odor resistant than your average sponge. Will a keep buying and using it yes. So I wish there was a better sponge out there that didn’t cost so much, yes.

This is a great sponge the rough side helps to scrub stubborn stuck on food, but gentle enough not to scratch the surface. This sponge easily rinses and being antibacterial treated is a plus to prevent it from developing an odor. You can even throw it in the dishwasher for a more sanitized clean.
