Perfect!!!

I really like this alarm. I already have a doorbell and outdoor camera of ring and I'm glad I added the security system. It's simple and effective. Hopefully one day ring will upgrade to a touch screen pin pad to make it more modern looking.

Awful customer service

My system malfunctioned and started alarming while I was out of town and they refused to disarm it unless I paid for a subscription (not a basic plan btw, it’s an “add on”). The person I spoke to was rude and wouldn’t let me escalate to just ask for an exception. Simplisafe lets you control remotely - returning and trying that system instead.

Safety is priority!

I absolutely love this alarm. It was so easy to install and set up. It comes with the right tools to ensure that your doors will be protected. You can also add on window detectors, motion detectors, glass break sensors, and cameras. I feel so safe with my alarm and am very happy with my purchase!

Form and Function - Perfect

The setup was pretty simple - I just took my time and followed the guides. The look of the components is modern and clean. I incorporated the base unit into one of my gallery walls. The ring changes color so I always know the state of the system and it looks cool. I included the keypad as part of a vignette by my front door. The door sensors are mounted toward the top of each door frame and pretty much blend in. I chose not to install window sensors for now. I have manual window locks because of my A/C system. I've tested the siren (it's in the base unit) and it is super loud - very effective. Arming and disarming the system from the app, Alexa, and the keypad is very simple. All systems are a go LOL! I'll be installing the gate sensor today but have already tested it and it works great. There is a range extender included but it looks like I won't need it. It would be nice if Ring would include a template to wall mount the base unit. The mounting holes on the back are pretty awkward to work with. I used Gorilla Tape to mount it rather than messing with the screw mount. I haven't decided on a subscription plan yet so I'm self-monitoring for now. Yard signs are available separately, which I'll be purchasing as an additional deterrent.

Motion Sensor Activated

We use these in several outdoor locations around our property. They are extremely durable and weather proof, installation is a breeze, they connect easily to your phones, easy to adjust to suit our needs providing us with great security and lighting.

I couldn't be any more satisfied with this product. I love the piece of mind I have when I am away from my home and even when I am home and the system is armed. I get real time notifications when a door/window is opened. Absolutely love this!

My main thing is keeping my kids safe. Having these cameras around gives me a piece of mind. Along with my alarm system that is. It was super easy to set up and it works perfect. Picture is great quality

Great functionality for the price

Easy to install & configure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This alarm system is VERY easy to set up and is relatively simple to integrate with existing Ring products or set up new if you've never used a Ring product before (the instructions that are super user-friendly). The interface is pretty straight forward - simple enough that anyone can figure out how to navigate it. Everything seems to be working as it should be right out of the box. The door sensors are a little tricky to install (I believe they're made for standard doors but it's relatively easy to figure out how to put them on custom frames). The only disadvantage to this product, which leads me to knock off a star, is there's a slight delay in the alert. When you trip the device, it takes about 10-15 seconds before you're notified on your phone via the app that the device was triggered. I would prefer if it was instantaneous. All in all this is a great security measure if you live in a smaller home, condo, or townhome. Would recommend!

Easy setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that a useful review might be how user friendly the alarm set actually is. The system is easy to set up. I downloaded the app from the internet and used the included instructions. I have poor internet service and was unsure if I could get the system to work. I can say it works as described even with my limited internet abilities. We only have WiFi in our home with an Att mobile hotspot. Our phones don’t work well at times. The alarm system does work for our. It does setup and work fairly easily. I do it all from my phone. Arm and disarm are no problem. I do get alerts to my phone when the WiFi network is lost. I will say it is a pretty user friendly system.
