The Maxx Action 3-N-1 Maxx Recycler is designed with a motorized drive, so it will roll forward and backward for a short distance, typically just a couple of feet, before it stops on its own. If you'd like to stop it sooner, you'll need to pick it up and press the switch off. Hope that helps!
