Beautiful Lego Art set
I really enjoyed building the Keith Haring figures. Being a fan since the 1980s, this was a must have for me. They will look really cool on the wall. The only complaint I have is the quality control. The booklets’ print quality isn’t consistent (some colours are off in the pink booklet) but more importantly, the larger green plates (2 x 6) are a different colour from the other green plates. This really takes away from the overall impression of the ensemble. (I wouldn’t complain about this in a different setting, but for a piece of ‘art’ this is disappointing!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Keith Haring Dancing Figures Lego set is the coolest! My 11 year old is usually the one putting Lego sets together, but this set, inspired by the artwork of '80's pop/graffiti artist, Keith Haring, really piqued my interest. We spent good quality time connecting bricks to create these dancing figures. When completed, they can be placed on sturdy little stands, and when wiggled, they dance! It's a great Lego set for both young and old!

Great build. . .except
Great build except for the color match on the green dancing figure. The solid green and the green with the Lego pips are two different colors. It is very noticeable in low light and bright light.

Missing pieces
I’ve been purchasing off brand building block sets for a few months now and you know what? There hasn’t been a single missing piece from any set that I have received. Not one. I was so excited to purchase this set and put it together. Imagine my surprise when right out of the gate, in the VERY first bag of bricks, there’s a missing piece. And wouldn’t you know it, it’s not a common “have 1 million laying around” size piece; it’s not uncommon, but it’s an unusual shape. So I had to sort through my bins to see if I had one, and fortunately, I did, albeit pretty beat up and old. If I want to continue to build this set, I’ll either have to use this old beat up piece, or wait 8 to 12 days for my missing piece to arrive to me. To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement. Seriously. I purchased so, so many off brand sets lately, and not a single one has a missing piece. Not one. Lego: do better.

Looks Fantastic, Dull build
I've gravitated towards sets I can display as "ornaments" or "pictures" because as much as I like building sets I don't want them taking over my house. This set looks great on the wall and has a large footprint that makes it good value. But, I found the build crushingly dull and monotonous - I was pretty fed up after the 2nd figure. I ended up feeling like I was back at school doing "lines", y'now, write out "I must not talk in class" 100 times. In hindsight I should have skipped building the five stands given I knew I'd be hanging them on the wall. I don't regret buying it, it looks really good but the build became a bit of a chore to get through.

Always Lego!

I always enjoyed putting lego sets together but this one is my favorite because how many figures I got to put together. It's always a bummer just putting one together but thus was 5 different dancing figures. Legos are always worth tye money because how durable they are. Also a huge plus on lego was I thought I was missing a peice and I went online looking and they would have shipped me the price I was missing if need be. Luckly I found it but lego has been around for years it's fun for adults and children to play. I will always continue to buy lego because they are a trust worthy brand. Also the instructions are easy to follow along and you won't get lost.

Good set, bad quality control for me
It's a good set but the one I received was missing multiple pieces and a bag, we were able to get a replacement but it did kind of ruin the build for me.

Great Creative Pursuit for Individual or Group Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego set featuring Keith Haring's "Dancing Figures" is a gem! This iconic art piece is recreated with the assembly of 1773 pieces. There are 16 individual bags of Legos which help the builder(s) effectively break the project down into smaller chunks. Each dancing figure has an instruction booklet as well. Given there are five figures, this Lego set is a terrific one to divide up among family members. Of course a solo builder could enjoy the process on their own, too!
