Missing quite a few pieces
I bought this set for a date night and was very frustrated and disappointed at the amount of missing pieces. The first missing piece I just thought I'd over looked it or left it in a bag, but upon checking the surface I was building on, the surrounding area, the bags for the pieces and the box, I could not find the piece. I continued to build and continued to find more missing pieces throughout. I was honestly really excited for this set considering it's very cute and nostalgic, but if I recommend it I will be warning about missing pieces.

The memories I built
Pixar is a core memory for me. From their shorts, to their feature length movies, to their tv show style animations, they mean a lot to me a person. Seeing more Pixar Lego sets has brought joy to my soul. The Luxo Jr. lamp set is no different. This set has a lot of small details on the inside, like most Pixar movies. I won't spoil it but the base build was some fantastic and nice additions that I didn't expect. The whole build is fun, allowing you to stand the lamp on the ball, or have it nearby. You can also 'pose' Luxo Jr. just like in the opening credit for Pixar sheepishly 'looking' at the camera after squashing the letter 'I'. It's a fantastic set for sure!

It was ok
This is a neat completed set. But with in the first two bags there were so many unnecessary pieces not needed. Using 2-1x1 to create a 2x1 or using 4 -2x1 to create a 4x2. Then all the little single round flats that did nothing. I felt they added these pieces just to drive total pc count. A neat set, would not buy again or would I recommend this set.

Great fun build until it wasn’t!
This is a great set, I managed to get in the sale so was definitely value for money and a really fun build until we got to bag 3 of 4 and was missing a piece, this was obviously really disappointing as we couldn’t continue the build, this build was supposed to be part of the family’s Lego day while we were on holiday.

Great Set!
This set was really fun to put together! I’m not a big technic fan and there are a few technic pieces. It didn’t take away from the build for me though. Lots of little Easter eggs to Pixar movies. Def worth the price!

Luxo Jr. Lamp so cute
Received before expected date and was so excited to get started on it. The set was easy to put together and instructions were simple to follow…Loved all the Easter eggs in the set and my kids also enjoyed the set!

Loved the hidden details
Once built, this is a cute little set to look at but the most enjoyable part is all the hidden details you get to see while building it. The app was really helpful and I built this in an afternoon.
