A: There are 2 stickers for the cartridge labels. The rest are pre-printed on the bricks.

This isn't sarcasm this is sincerity, I know plenty of under 18s who would be on either side of this line particularly when it comes to a system they have no personal memories of.

A: If you mean the bricks go together, yes. If you mean if it is a functional gameboy, the answer is no, although third parties have been working on kits so you can add the functionality.

Legos and Game Boy! What a combination!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son and I built it in a couple of hours. The instructions to assemble are well defined and the picture of each step makes it even easier. The Lego pieces are also sturdy and don't come off easily.

Best set I’ve built
Being a Millenial this was a set I knew i wanted. But i could not have hoped it being this good. First off this set has 2 stickers to apply in it that’s all, all other details are prints. Never had a set of this value with such low number of stickers. The build itself if really enjoyable and loads of unusual build techniques that come together brilliantly. Then the fact that it’s 1:1 scaled and that the buttons feel and move like a proper Gameboy. Cole with display stands that act as storage for the lenticular scenes. All we need now is an add on game cartridge pack with Pokemon …. Be ideal tie in for the 2026 Pokemon sets and licence Lego ;). If you’re a Lego fan or a gamer this set is a must and that’s not even considering the price and value of it.

A love letter to my childhood
I was gifted this for Christmas and my word it was the best present. The build is wonderful, starting off with the games, and progressing onwards. The moment when it starts to really come together it's beautiful. The fact that even though it's not a real Gameboy, but you still have a function d pad, buttons, click of the power button and contrast and volume buttons, are such a nostalgic nod, even the sticky button, you just feel like you are back in Christmas of pass. The screen part is stunning. Even the instruction booklet, felt like the information pack you'd get It took me just over an hour to make it, and none of it felt like a chore, or annoying.

They nailed it with this set. The nostalgic look and feel to this were above expectations. Everything from the dials, working buttons and controls to the on/off switch and all the printed pieces for volume, contrast etc. Definitely a fun build and look great on the shelf, would recommend to anyone who enjoys a little nostalgia.

My Early Christmas present!!
I had so much fun building this although I wish it came with Super Mario land 2: 6 golden coins and Tetris as 2 other side games and I'm really looking forward to Nintendo and Lego releasing a Lego Nintendo 64 replica for it to go in the Lego Nintendo console line up, but it didn't have enough pieces for it to be rated 18+, it could've been 12+ but, I'm not complaining and I also love the fact that it has a pushable D-pad button, pushable Start and Select buttons, and pushable A & B buttons and I also discovered that you can put Lego Mario's hat on the movable ON/OFF lever so now that you can use his hat for the ON/OFF lever on the top of the Lego Nintendo GameBoy™️. I WOULD recommend buying this ITS SO AWESOMEEEE!!!!!!!! I'll give it a 9.5/10 due to the fact that it didn't have Super Mario land 2 but I'm not complaining tho.

well, I’m old and it said your store had one when I placed this and then you want me to change which store I would like to pick it up at no one in your stores.
